Fanad House provides a good welcome and friendly service. The 'Full Irish" is good with a good selection on the Buffet Bar to supplement it. We have been twice and found the levels of service 'good'. The Fanad House is easy to get to, easy to walk from (to the castle and downtown) and clean, clean, clean. We stayed in the newly renovated section with a rather drippy, wobbly toilet, but overall it was totally brilliant, well kept, and welcoming. Would highly recommend Fanad House to any tourists visiting Kilkenny. Stayed there this year during the Cats Laughs Comedy Festival, and was delighted with the high quality and standards in place. Pat and family are very friendly, and made us feel at home immediately. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast menu was excellent. Will definitely be returning next year. more
