The house is wonderful, the food is good, and the BEST part is Anne Marie and Mark. If Mark tells you to skip something you had planned, skip it. If he tells you to go visit this abandoned place that he knows about, go there and poke around - see what you discover. Both of them have a great sense... More

Hard to add anything to all the superlative reviews other than to say that it's all true. As with everyone else who has stayed there, it was the best part of our trip to Ireland and an experience we will always cherish.

Traveling is about having experiences you will always remember, and we will always remember our time with Ann-Marie and Mark. I had such high expectations before going there, based on Trip Advisor reviews, that I was worried that it might not meet them. However, it greatly surpassed them! The house is charming, their home right above the inn is unbelievable... More

My husband and I stayed here during our week long anniversary celebration in Ireland and it was one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. Mark greeted us, made us tea, gave us a full tour of the house and the land (the rooms, the river, the farm- history included!), set us up with a map of the... More

This place is a...very special place. It is absolutely deserving of all of the praise it has received on here. The farmhouse is gorgeous, our room was large and extremely comfortable, the breakfast was top class. Mark and Ann-Marie clearly love what they do and they are incredibly good at it. Mark gave us a fantatic itinerary for sightseeing in... More

Lawcus Farm was by far the highlight of our vacation in Ireland. Mark and Ann-Marie make you feel like family. They were more than happy to accommodate our last minute, late arrival. We could have spent hours just sitting in the conservatory and chatting with Ann-Marie over breakfast but there is so much to see around that area. The Kells... More

We reserved 2 rooms. Upon arriving until we left it felt like home. The rooms and grounds were very charming as well as the caretakers. Ann- Marie and Mark are the best! Wish I could have stayed my entire trip here. As my dad said when we left " it will be hard for any other B and B on... More

Ann Marie and Mark made us feel like family. My family of 5, kids aged 8, 11, and 13, had a marvelous time. We actually extended our stay by a night, and thought it was the best decision we made on our week long tour of Ireland. The kids got to help out with the animals, and my husband bot... More

We spent 2 nights a Lawcus Farm during our recent trip to Ireland. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. What fantastic hosts, Mark and Anne Marie are great people and you can tell they really love what they do. Mark is extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area, and on arrival will give you some great ideas... More

Our only regret was NOT staying longer. From the minute we arrived we fell in love with this place and its hosts/owners, Mark and Anne Marie, we were looking for a memorable trip in Ireland and we certainly got it here. There is so much to love about Lawcus Farm, our room was great, full bed downstairs and two twin... More
