Wish we could have stayed longer! This famliy-run B&B (it's not actually a working farm) is a little jewel tucked away in County Kilkenny's verdant countryside. My wife and I made the same mistake that most americans make while exploring Ireland...we tried to see too much in too little time. Ireland is best "absorbed" at a leisurely pace, and Lawcus Farms is the perfect place to do just that. We arrived at the Lawcus farm house in the afternoon and we were greeted by Tilley and Bilbo the friendly farm dogs. As soon as we pulled in, we immediately fell in love with the place. This is a gem !! I The guesthouse is very warm and wonderful !! Old stone stucture that has been completely refurbished. The grounds stretch all the way to the Kings River.
