Lawcus Farm was our first stop during our three weeks in Ireland. What a wonderful beginning. Mark and Ann Marie are the perfect hosts, providing all the information we could possibly need. The breakfasts were wonderful with lots of options for the cooked portion of the meal. Mark even took the time before we left to show us their own... More

My family of 4 (husband and 2 daughters, 18 and 21) spent one night at Lawcus Farm. What a charming and beautiful guest house. My daughters were enthralled with their lofty room! We loved the Irish countryside, and my daughters enjoyed the farm animals (Lilly took quite a few pictures!). Mark and Ann-Marie were so gracious and gave us wonderful... More

It's hard to come up with something other than the wonderful things already said about this wonderfully quaint B&B... every word spoken is true! After finding this place on a random google search, we never thought it would be highlight of our 6-day trip to Ireland, but the Lawcus Farm House did NOT disappoint us. From the moment we arrived,... More

There is absolutely NO doubt that Mark and Anne-Marie are the very best hosts in Ireland! We were blown away by the beauty of their Guesthouse, their wonderful own home- which we were privileged to visit.. and the delicious breakfasts which Anne-Marie turned on seemingly effortlessly. Everyone seems to leave as friends. Mark has the gift of the gab ..... More

My family of 4 (husband and 2 kids, 10 and 12) spent our last two nights of a two-week Ireland holiday with Mark and Ann-Marie in their absolutely stunning guest house. We knew we wanted to relax at the end of a long vacation and we could not have chosen a better place to do so. The location of the... More

We loved this place! Ann Marie and Mark are wonderful hosts. They provide way more than just a unique room and a good breakfast in their lovely farm house. We were given wonderful directions on things to do and see in the area, introduced to their many farm animals, told stories of the history of the area and even had... More

Definitely off the beaten path in a secluded farmhouse. The hosts were better than spending quality time with family. Follow Mark's advice of the neat things to see and do in the area. The farm animals were all friendly too and eager to meet you. Only regrets...we only booked one night. Ann Marie whips up breakfast and keeps you engaged... More

I don't even know where to start ..... Anne- Marie and Mark were amazing! Right from the start when I arrived I felt like home. I was given maps that were hand drawn with amazing directions on how to get into Kilkenny and where to park for a reasonable rate as well as how to see the ruins in Kell.... More

This is a really unique place. Mark and Ann-Marie are justifiably very proud of the house they built and the farm they have developed, they really are in their heaven and eager to share it with guests. Full of character, the rooms are beautiful and tastefully appointed. The breakfast is excellent. The real emphasis though is the incredible welcome and... More

We absolutely loved this B&B! The room itself was large with a comfortable big bed and a nice bathroom. The owners were both very sweet. As soon as we arrived Anne-Marie made us some tea and gave us a few maps which she used to explained everything we could do in the area and her suggestions were great. The farm... More
