Great hotel situated right in the middle of Kilkenny City within walking distance of everything. Hotel decor very modern. Staff are friendly and attentive, secure parking also. Breakfast was great, bar food seemed very expensive but can't comment as did not eat there. B&b rate very reasonably priced given it's central location and all the Pembroke has to offer perfect... On a return visit after many years.Centrally located near all main activities and shops .The room we were allocated was very large and comfortable hitting all the right spots.Staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was probably the weakest part of our stay though adequate it did not stand out.

Visited again on a road trip with some friends and were not disppointed second time round. Room was spacious even with 3 single beds with a lovely bathroom and all facilities clean and well maintained. One gripe is that parking is a bit tight and this was mid week, may be more of an issue in peak season/weekend. Overall would... More

The hotel is located a 2 minute walk into town. The room we had was very large, clean with a great shower. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a great selection on a self service basis, people did have to wait for a table if they arrived near end of service time. Parking... More

Have stayed before and will again. We love Kilkenny and are so glad to stay here when in need of a quick break . We got a great deal on their website when you book 21 days in advance. Our room was spotless and had everything you could need including a Nespresso coffee machine which was a first for me... More

The Pembroke was our first destination when we arrived in Ireland. What a nice place. The rooms are attractive, spacious, clean and modern. Lots of amenities tucked into every corner. The hotel is right up the road from Kilkenny Castle, so quite convenient to begin a tour of this nice little town. Breakfast was tasty and ample, with a wide... More

We have now stayed at the Pembroke three times in four months. It is in an excellent location with excellent staff. Special mention: Turker and Michelle in the restaurant. Definitely the place we will stay when visiting Kilkenny.
