Walking distance from the main hub-bub of town, this B&B was charming. The rooms were much larger than expected and very clean. The hospitality was very nice and our host was able to give us great direction on what to do and see. Breakfast was yummy, beds were super comfy and the room was quiet. Would stay there again. more

I have jus left Kilkenny and my lovely host Rhoda and Phil. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rosquil House. The greeting I got when I arrived was warm and welcoming. Phil was extremely helpful in giving me information about things to do and see around Kilkenny. I had 2 fantastic breakfasts that were delicious and plentiful. My bed was... more

We spent our first night in Ireland at Rosquil House and Phil & Rhoda were so welcoming and helpful with their suggestions. Our room was large and spotlessly clean and the breakfast delicious and beautifully presented. We would recommend Rosquil House to everyone planning a stay in Kilkenny. more

We stayed three nights at Rosquil House during our recent stay in Ireland. The accomodation exceeding anything else we had stayed in. We stayed in the apartment at the back of the house. The apartment was just lovely, beautifully decorated with a separate kitchen/living room and bedroom and bathroom. Phil and Rhoda were wonderful hosts. They guided us to the... more

We stayed in Rosquil House our first night in Ireland. Everything was perfect! The room is quite spacious, everything was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. It is also a very pleasant walk into town, which enabled us to leave our car in the off street parking lot. more

We stayed at Rosquil House for one night. It is more like a hotel than a B&B. Rooms were large and well appointed. Large dining room accommodated the full house for breakfast easily. We had breakfast on a Sunday so the menu was somewhat limited, but everything was great. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone needing accommodation in Kilkenny. more

Our stay at Rosquil exceeded many, many logdging experiences we have had in Ireland and anywhere else. When we arrived, Phil was so welcoming, even though we did not have reservations. Lucky for us, the newly rennovated apartment was available. We were impressed with the contemporary design and the attention to every detail. It was perfect. I could actually see... more

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Ireland. Our nights stay was at Rosquil House in Kilkenny. We can only say that Rhoda and her husband run a wonderful establishment. From the warm greeting upon our arrival, the wonderful restaurant recommendations and of course, the fabulous breakfast in the morning. The inn is immaculate and spacious and also... more

Rosquil House was built/remodeled as a B&B, and thought, care, and taste show in the details. The hardwood floors gleam, and oriental rugs in the common areas add an elegant touch. Our room was tastefully decorated (nothing fussy), very clean, and quiet. Rhoda and Phil are generous with their time and knowledgeable about the area -- Phil even explained Irish... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days last May. Although the B&B is located a bit further from the city center than we would have liked, we had a rental car so it wasn't a big deal. The owners are two very nice people who are very helpful, available, and cook an excellent breakfast. Our room was very... more
