We stayed one night at Rosquil house in early April and found it to be one of our best accommodations during our trip. Our room was quite large and immaculate! The owner Rhonda was so kind and offered great advice regarding sites to take in, places to eat and pubs to enjoy. Despite Rosquil house not being centrally located, we... More

We loved this B&B. We were welcomed like friends, our room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff will go above and beyond to accommodate guests. And Kilkenny is very walkable, so while Rosquil House is not in the very center of the city, it is a relatively easy walk to/from attractions and the train station.... More

We only stayed in Kilkenny one night. The Rosquil house had the largest and most modern rooms of all the B&Bs we stayed at. The bathrooms were as large as anything we’d find in an American hotel which is somewhat unusual for B&Bs. We posted some photos, but they do not do justice to the comfortable feeling of our room.... I just spent one night in this B&B with my husband and 2 children and it is really GREAT! I had very high expectations since I had read so many positive reviews and it was even better than I expected. The room was beatufiful and huge and the breakfast was outstanding. It is really more like a boutique hotel than... More

The first of 5 B&Bs we stayed at on our Ireland trip. Great introduction to Ireland! Delicious gourmet-style food, excellent presentation. Comfortable stay. Fairly close to Kilkenny Castle (we walked to it) and other landmarks like Rock of Cashel. We would definitely recommend Rosquil House to other travelers.

Rhoda and Phil went beyond the call of day when our party of ten showed up minus one suitcase inadvertently left behind in Dublin. Several phone calls and suggestions and we finally were reunited with our lost luggage in Bunratty. So, a big thank you to our hosts. The B&B was superb. A short walk into the city centre brings... We spent one night here in room 1 (facing the street, no noise problem though). The room is spacious as is the bathroom. An iron and ironing board are provided which is always nice. It's a nice walk into town (saving the parking aggravation). Breakfast was quite good. Very friendly service with tips for where to have dinner.

Breakfasts were outstanding, both hot and cold. All hot dishes made to order in a bright and stylish dining room. We stayed for 5 nights to explore the city where my grandmother was born and raised. Mostly we walked to the city center on Parliament St and the street, Black Mill, where my ancestors lived. Rosquill House is really first... More

We just spent three nights here leaving this morning. We booked our room over 4 months ago back in early February and received confirmation that we had reserved a room with a king bed. Upon arrival, Phil informed us that his wife had put us in the self catering suite out at the back of the property above the garage.... More

We enjoyed our stay with Phil and Rhoda. Their place is perfect for staying in Kilkenny, Ireland. All was great, And, Jennifer, their daughter is great !!
