This hotel is a short walk to the town centre on a quiet street. seems it has been recently modernised and has nice, comfortable modern decor and is spotlessly clean. Good value at €69 for B&B. Free parking behind the hotel. Fine for a bloke by himself but might not reach the required standard for a romantic night away! Generally... More

We wanted a hotel close to city center with parking. This hotel had a large parking lot at the rear and was in easy walking distance of city center. The staff was friendly and helpful. the room was good size and clean. Breakfast was not included in our rate, but was available when I booked the room at a reduced... More

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Don't bother with breakfast though it's a bit rough and microwaved several times over by the looks of it. No one eats it so get breakie in town. The Guinness is second to none though! Not too bad just get breakfast in town instead. Make sure you check out the castles in Kilkenny and... More

Located very close to the center and main attractions. Parking in the backyard available. The room was big and clean although quite chilly. Breakfast contained full/variations of traditional Irish breakfast, fruits and cereals. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

A budget hotel, but well located, very close to the city centre. The rooms are compact, but very clean and comfortable, with a good ensuite. Breakfast is good. The night porter served me a pint of Guinness when I got back at 1 am...much appreciated! The rate was considerably less than other nearby hotels, albeit they were of a higher... More
