I've just returned from a lovely stay at the Laragh House. Firstly the room beautiful decor and the bed out of this world. It was so comfortable I found it hard to get up, the bathroom was so clean and had a whirlpool jacuzzi bath heaven. Location: It's a little far to walk to town or to any restaurants, but it has good access to a major thoroughfare into town. Room: Very nice. TV, coffee/tea maker, GREAT bed, immaculate bathroom. This is a modern house just a short walk from Kilkenny city. Helen is very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for her. This place was amazing. Absolutley beautiful and immaculately clean. We traveled with our two children and had plenty of space in a room with a double bed, twin bed and cot. They even brought up a high chair to make feeding the baby easier (which we simply took to the breakfast room in the morning). The breakfast was so good!... more
