I booked what I thought was a double room for the a fee of €120 for one night! We arrived, walked up a dark and dingy stairs into a room with at least 6 beds. Aging painted walls, filthy carpets and mould climbing up the window frames and a distinctive smell of damp. As soon as I walked in, I... More

We stayed at this place and paid average nightly hotel fee. They used a fake name when we booked on booking.com to escape their reviews. Beware, they also call themselves Waterfront B&B. Same address, same place, same people. We went there excited my girlfriend and I for a quick getaway from Dublin and to explore Kilkenny. We chose this place... More

Arrived in Kilkenny for a hen night. As I stood a cross the road and stared at the filthy, derelict looking green building I had to pick my jaw up off the floor! There is a door with stairs inside. No light in the hallway and we all fell up the stairs. Rooms were just stuffed with beds, it stank... More

Just don't go next or near the place. Dirty, cold, noisy, old, location good but not worth it......i would never ever go back there. Beds didn't clean or freshly changed! Shower was a trickle and dirty. Carpets filthy. Towels were filthy and beach towels from the last century and not washed since!!

We arrived down to this supposed guesthouse and were total incredulous as to what lay waiting for us. First we couldn't check in until three, we had to store our bags in a little hallway next door to a shop. When it came to check in we found the place eventually, a small doorway and up the stairs, I thought... More

Organized a stag and booked 24 respectale people in here with no messers. Owner demanded a 300euro deposit against damages up front along with full cost of accommodation. Money to be given back following morning. Owner attempted to keep €150 from deposit as a breakfast bowl was broke in one room. No hot water in any shower. No running water... More
