We stayed a night at Hillgrove B&B during our roadtrip from Galway to Dublin and it was definitely a highlight. Though it's a few miles out of town, it was a beautiful home and the owners were wonderful people. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. more

My husband and I stayed at Hillgrove on our first of 10 nights in Ireland. The B&B is very well decorated and the hostess was very nice. This was a lovely B&B in Kilkenny. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The room was nicely decorated, clean and great for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. If you don't stay here, you're a fool! It's a gem. Kilkenny is a great town and so is this place. Short drive to city center. Great hosts, lovely house and awesome breakfast. What else can I say!!! What can one say about the best B&B they have had the opportunity to enjoy. Rooms are comfortable and furnished with antiques. The area is surrounding Hillgrove is beautiful.
