My wife and I spent our first night in Ireland here and were very pleased with the Dunboy. The B&B is clean and quiet at night and Helen and Tony were very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was great and it's a short walk into the city center. We highly recommend the Dunboy for anyone staying in the area. more
Down for a couple of nights for comedy festival - very friendly and comfortable and the homemade scones and bread went down a treat morning after a night on the town........ more
I found this B&B on TripAdvisor and couldn't be more pleased. Helen (the owner) is very engaging, very funny and strives to meet all the needs of her guests. She is a wealth of information on whatever questions you have - where and when to find traditional music sessions, where to eat, park, shop, sightsee, etc. Her guests comfort is... more
This lovely home is exactly what travelers are looking for, clean, safe and very comfortable. I could have spent the entire time there with Helen and her family talking about Ireland and everything to do with Ireland, past and present. My wife and myself have special dietary needs that Helen was prepared for. I would highly recommend the Dunboy B&B... more

It was our first visit to Ireland and also our first overnight stay and we loved it. Arriving very tired and without luggage (did not show up at the airport) Helen made us feel at home and was an excellent host. The rooms were tidy and the breakfast delicious. We will definetely recommend Dunboy and maybe stay over again one... more

We stayed at the beginning of June and Helen and Tony couldn't have been more welcoming. Helen had maps ready for us the minute we got there and organised the front room with afternoon tea for us to take a breather. It was the homliest stay in all of Ireland for us. We felt we could really relax in our... more
This was our first overnight stay on a short holiday in Ireland. I do have to say that it was one of the best. Helen and her husband could not have been more welcoming and helpful, with home- made maps and lots of suggestions for visits and where to eat. Our breakfast was wonderful, with lovely fresh farm eggs, scones... more
