Booked for us through a tour company. Rooms were pretty dumpy and old looking. It needs a serious face lift. Too many beds in one room, its not a dormitory, or a hostel, its supposed to be a bed and breakfast. Towels were dirty looking and had holes in them. Breakfast was o.k. I would not recommend this b&b.

Adequate accommodations; avoid a front room as the traffic is noisy and continuous all night long.

Heard some good reviews of this place but I was very upset and dissapointed by the service at knockavon and decided to change accommodation before our visit was over. The owner was extremely rude to me and my family. The place was clean enough but the personal touch was sorely missing. Love Kilkenny though !
