We stayed here while at a wedding. Basic rooms but very clean, friendly atmosphere. Parking is tight. The guest house had a good selection of breakfasts to choose from and we could take As long as we liked for breakfast

Katherine was very welcoming and she made sure to take the time to explain exactly how to get around town and where to park. She even showed us the best route to take when we left the following day for Blarney. The b&b was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved that she gave us several options to choose from for... There is literally so much I can say about this place! The owner, Katherine, was amazing. She drew us a map of Kilkenny City and told were the best places to eat and see were. Everything is in walking distance to the city. She also had a wide variety of a breakfast menu, unlike some of the other B&B's we... More

We read the reviews before booking and were very excited to stay, as the reviews were all great... I have to say we were not disappointed by the reviews, they were all accurate, but there is one thing that I am surprised they didn't say??? I will get to that in a moment, because for us the good was truly... More

We arrived early and were warmly greeted by Katherine. We were pleased to get a first floor room that was quiet and overlooking her beautiful garden. The breakfast was super - your order is placed the night before from a 6 choice selection. Nicely done!

Wonderful warm home atmosphere. The beds were really good. Great breakfast served and a lovely backdrop with garden and red squirrels at the back. The best B&B I have used in many years of travelling to Kilkenny for yearly conferences. Thank you!

Loved this little B&B and our host! She was great with giving advice, not only for our stay in Kilkenny, but also for our trip through Ireland. Mena House was very clean, comfy, and we had a delicious homemade breakfast!

Found this B&B through a recommendation from a local as we winged it through Ireland. Found the hostess to be very warm and gracious and the accommodations to be neat and extremely clean with a beautiful garden for you to overlook at breakfast. Could not have asked for a better 1st nights lodging.

The Mena House Bed & Breakfast is a most comfortable place to stay. Katherine, the innkeeper, is very hospitable and is extremely helpful in providing advice on places to visit and eat. The breakfast is excellent with multiple options, and the B&B is within walking distance of Kilkenny City Center.
