The landlady may not be the most welcoming people but she wasn't rude at all - even patient for our relatively poor English. The room was 50€ for 2, without breakfasts - but that wasn't really a problem, there are many pubs in the street where we can enjoy an Irish breakfast. The room was clean, quiet and perhaps a... This place is horrible. Wouldn't even stay again for free. Woman is so rude and she wasn't happy when my friend brought back a date she met in the pub. Garbage (food and papers) under the bed. No smoke alarms or kettle , iron etc.

Booked into Dalys as a last minute thing for a meet up with friends in Kilkenny back in December as all the central hotels were booked or overpriced. The location is perfect and the free parking is ideal but that's where the good parts end. Rang the door bell numerous times before the owner answered and I felt like I... More

We stayed here recently as we were on a birthday night out. For €60 room only it's a bargain considering the room prices available in Kilkenny hotels. The room was clean and basic - a double bed, ensuite, wardrobe, desk and a single bed as well. We were shown to our room by the owner who was very friendly (we... More

This was an amazing find right in the centre of Kilkenny. It's next door to a splendid hotel, at the heart of the town and has car parking included. The rooms are clean; the en-suite shower room was quite large and there was adequate storage space plus a TV. We didn't have the 8.30 breakfast because we wanted a slightly... More

This B&B surprised us big time. Located only a minute walk from the castle and just at the beginning of the centre of this medieval city it looks like small bungalow from outside and we expected it to be noisy due to its' location and the fact that we were staying during a busy summer weekend. But then we walked... More

The reviews for this B&B are far from the truth! This is a American style motel that may be dated slightly, but is cheap, clean, comfortable and safe My friends stayed literally 5 doors up and paid €55 more. I was there for a stag and would go back again for sure! Keith

Went to Kilkenny as a last thought and stayed 1 night. This was a very interesting night spent at this place. They have a secure car park area which was peace of mind for us with our rental car. The owner was weird to say the least and not overly friendly. There was a damp smell about the place. The room... More

Took a double room with 2 singles. Cost 30 euro each, so the room total was 60 euros. For that the room was cold, hot water was luke warm at best, garbage under the bed. We stayed there because we didn't have time to shop around but it wasn't that pleasant. The lady caretaker said this year was her worst... More
