This b&b is at a good location. The owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and clean. We would have like to have two armchairs in the room, as it is big enough for the added furniture. The only thing we can complain about was the blown light bulb of the bedside table.

Pros: Location. The b&b is close enough to the city that you can walk in for dinner and enjoy a drink. However, another guest said it was a bit far to walk to from the bus station carrying your things. Hospitality. The woman there was very nice and made us coffee/tea upon arrival, though she had a hurried feeling about... More

We visited Kilkenny on a busy weekend, and can only assume this is why the Tourist Centre referred us to this B & B. It was noticeably dirty, with white fur on the chairs and dust on furniture. We felt very uncomfortable, like staying with a relative who didn't want you there and could hardly wait to leave in the... More

stayed here for two nights and really didn't like it. Would not recommend you to stay here. Owner is nice but she has dogs and there is dog hair everywhere, on the beds, on the carpets and I even found one on my toast!! the rooms were big but very stuffy and not clean, there was dust on the bed... No heating and no hot water in our room on arrival. Dust/cobwebs in room and bathroom, carpet not vacuumed, towels dingy/linen not much better; no blind on bathroom window, dirty soap dish; kettle, courtesy tray & hairdrier all grubby. Breakfast poorly cooked and on one occasion served with 2 hairs - bacon inedible (probably from day before); diningroom had crumbs/cereal... More

We found 6 hairs in the breakfast! The hygine standards were deplorable; musty smell all over, pubic hairs in the shower, room cold, breakfast dishes filthy, scum and hard food at bottom of glasses etc.

the Rodini Town House is a little bit too far outside the city of Kilkenny--requiring you to drive in to visit the city. There are many bed and breakfasts in the city, so consider your needs when booking. We did appreciate the ease we had in leaving the bed and breakfast due to its proximity to the ring road--much easier... More

We enjoyed our stay for one night at Rodini B&B. Mary was very accomodating, arranging alternative plans for us to fetch the key as she wasn't going to be there when we arrived. The room was large and bathroom had bath and shower. The B&B is easy to find and is within walking distance of Kilkenny town.
