It was very nice. The room was clean, but average. We don't really need much, but a clean room, bed and shower. The breakfast was equal to many others in Ireland. Just outside the Kilkenny city center, it is only a 10 minute walk down to the main tourist area of the city. It's far enough away that you feel like you're in a nice little suburb.
