Stayed here for 1 night deal. €79 including a main course for 2. Reception: Excellent Room: Huge, dated yes but lovely. Really loved it. Dining: Dinner in the bar/restaurant-Excellent, a good menu. We had a main only which was the mixed grill and I really recommend. Breakfast has the usual options but also "catch of the day" which we didn't... More

We always stay in the club house it's in the quieter end of Kilkenny. The staff are so helpful and friendly and food second to none. The hotel is old style but very clean hopefully your legs are ok as there is no lifts. Well worth a trip can't wait to go back in october.

I had a great lunch & desert, well prepared and presented & good price. Edel who served me was very helpful, friendly & professional. Well worth a visit the next time you are in Kilkenny. The Hotel is on Patrick Street a short walk from the castle

Very central, walk to everywhere. A very old hotel of character. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't expect modern streamlined look. Has been refurbished over the years but could do with more investment. Room and bathroom were clean but could be spruced up. Reasonably priced and is comfortable enough. If arriving by car call in advance for directions to carpark.

The atmosphere here is very suggestive, due to an irish old fashioned style, in fact the halls and the stairs are all covered in decorated tapestries. The bedrooms are nice, cozy, clean and silents, even if the structure is very near to the center of the town. Se found it a very good accomodation.

Club House Hotel is a very old hotel with lots of stairs and corridors. The bedroon we stayed in was fairly big, clean but the bathroom was very old fashioned and needed a refurbish. The dining room for breakfast was big and spacious, very clean with crisp white tablecloths. The staff in the restaurant downstairs were very helpful and friendly... More

Though the location is great, the Club House and tired and worn down. I love staying in cute, charming hotel and B&Bs, but this is not one of them. Too bad, with a few renovations, this hotel could regain its previous glory.

Really nice hotel, super nice staff, lovely food and comfy beds. Special mention to Emily behind reception, Dave in the bar and the night porter Peter, really made our stay extra special. Rooms were lovely, airy and clean, exactly what we needed. Perfectly suited to our trip. Will definitely be back.

Stayed in The Club House for one night with my partner. Upon arriving I was a little anxious, the hotel decor was very dated and like other guests, I too noticed a musty smell. Ive no problem with decorating a hotel to fit in with its history, but this place was just dated and tatty and in need of freshening... More

Stayed one night, used Living Social voucher. 1 Adult 3 kids. The staff in the hotel were great, friendly and efficient. Especially in the Bar Restaurant. Best Sirloin steaks! Tasty and cooked to perfection. The bed was super comfortable and clean room! Wifi excellent! In the middle of Kilkenny City! The hotel is the oldest in Kilkenny so could do... More
