Just back from a 2 night stay at the Newpark. The room was extremely shabby. The air was pungent with the smell of smoke and all of the soft furnishings also smelt very strongly of smoke. I wouldn't recommend you stay here. Hotel laid out all over the place. The breakfasts are terrible and not worth getting up for. The restaurants menu is really limited and the food tastes poor and presentation and service is humourus. If this is a four star hotel I would have to Question the means by which these stars are given... more

We had a lovely room, large, new, stylish and comfortable. Huge bathroom with separate shower. Food in the restaurant was good. Enjoyed the leisure centre and gym. Stayed in the New Park in June. Excellent place to stay. The only one complaint I have is there was a lot of noise from the hallway. This is being fussy though. This hotel was really very organised! The rooms are really nice, the bathrooms fab! The breakfast was great, had seperate menu for those who don't fancy the full irish breakfast and served pancakes and omlettes etc! Overall I had a great wkend stay ahere and would definately return! more
