Only untruths are the proprietors! We traveled as a couple (2 people, one double room) no group/friends! I've never run a marathon and don't plan to! Noise was from a nite club next door, car park behind our room, slamming doors within the B&B. Peace and quite..a few hours sleep would have been nice, usually people do want to sleep!... More

Stayed here last weekend on a Stag Party. I don't know how this place can be called a BnB. The standard of the rooms is very poor, cold showers, smelly, stains on bed clothes and very dilapidated. The customer service was shocking with the girl on check in making a group of 26 guys wait on the stairs for 20... More

On arrival the building looked dilapidated on the outside and clearly hadn't been painted in years. On the inside it got worse, the heating was not working and we found the door to our room had clearly been kicked in and the frame shattered. The key wouldn't work with the mangled door frame, so we had to remove all our... More

Rooms weren't hoovered, no tv's, we had to battle to get heating and hot water, the place is only staffed after one p.m. and no one answered the phone no matter how much we called, and the staff that we did eventually see appeared to be stoned. The worst place I've ever paid to stay in

Went to kilkenny for a stag night out and stayed at the Bailey for one night. The unbelievable thing about this place is that it is just B, not B&B. Woke up the next morning looking forward to breakfast and saw in the room instructions that we needed to go to the first floor, to the right for the main... More

I stayed here recently for a night and was very disappointed. The building from the ourside looks unkept and things do not get any better inside. I have to agree with a lot of the other reviewers on this accommodation. Its is of a very low standard. No Heating No Hot Water and No staff there to assist you. Please... More

We stayed here as part of a package organised by a hen party website. On the way down, we tried to contact the B&B to find out about parking but there was no answer no matter how many times we rang. I'm not sure where the free parking referred to by the owner is but we parked (and paid) in... More

I stayed here recently and it was very disappointing. No breakfast (I stayed at a weekend) despite it being advertised as a B&B. My TV didn't work and there was no hot water AT ALL. I won't be coming back here.

The property is central, and an easy walk to almost anything within the town. The room was reasonably priced EXCEPT there was no breakfast during my stay at this B&B. I must say that the manager explained that the cook only worked on weekends as it is quiet during the week - I stayed Monday night. The big gotcha was... More

If you don't want to sleep, this is the B&B for you! The noise comes from various sources, there is a nightclub called Magnum next door, there is a car park at the back of the building and then there is the other people staying in the B&B, and the person cooking breakfast in the morning slamming doors! Sleep..forget it!... More

I would just like to point out that this last review was made with alot of untruths, and as the Proprietor I would like to let you reviewers know of the details that this lady has surprisingly left out. Her room was one of three Double Rooms booked for a 2 night stay including Bed and Breakfast on the Bank... More
