This is a great hostel to stay in. Fergus was really welcoming and friendly. Its an excellent place to stay for a night out in Kilkenny as your in close proximity to the city center. Would recommend this hostel highly!

This review is coming super late. I stayed here for a night last May, and it was wonderful. This was my first stop when I got to Ireland and the staff made a great first impression. Close walk to city center made this place even better. No real complaints about the place, aside from I remember one of the bathrooms... More

This hostel was found upon stumbling!! When we called looking for accommodations, Fergus was super friendly on the fone and told us to come right over. When we got there, he showed us the hostel, gave us a great price and even chatted with us for a bit. He truly represents the hostel as the first face you see (or... More

First time hostel experience and this place made it worth the while. Clean, cozy and has a warming environment. about a five minute walk to city center. Definitely got your money's value out of it. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here as a group if 4 , heading out in Kilkenny for the weekend . The room was basic , compact but clean . Check out was pretty strict as the cleaners were knocking on the door waiting for us to leave . Staff were friendly and helpful . Generally couldn't fault the place - value for money... More

About two minutes away from all the action: pubs, restaurants. The staff were really friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere. It's nice having a kitchen in the morning where you can have a cup of tea, toast, porridge.

This is a great little hostel and would consider staying here if we came back. The rooms have en suites and the kitchen is large enough for 20 people to sit at the wooden table all at once. There is a common room at the front of the property which is Cosy. it is very central to the main part... More

I was walking 200km from Cork to Carlow for the Simon Communities. As part of the walk I was relying completely on what was donated to me. I turned up at the hostel soaked and tired after 8 days of solid walking. The staff there were amazing, they let me stay for free (as a donation to the charity walk),... More
