IMO the best place to stay if you are in Tralee!! Seán Óg's has a great location - it's just 5 mins from the train station and in the centre of the town. Keep in mind that B&B is not a 5* hotel. Although the rooms are super tiny, they feature everything you need during your stay: a comfortable bed,... More

Very nice place to stay. Sean Og's Pub is good to meet people, drink Guinness and listen to good music. Backpacker's are very welcome. Staff is very helpful and friendly. You get a simple, but full breakfast.

As a tour guide I get around and visit and recommend good entertaining venues. I'm not exaggerating if I say that Sean Og's is the very best music venue I know in Ireland. Not only the music is great, the staff is next to none. Friendly, efficient, humorous. Prices are very fair.

Second time we have stayed this year, it has everything we could want! Great bar, warm friendly staff, a great burger/pizza shop opposite and somewhere to park the motorcycles! It's no ritz Carlton, but what a brilliant experience! Value for money!

For the price I am wrapped. Great big breakfast, the staff are very welcoming and polite. For the great price of 30Euro, I cannot complain, as it is much better than staying in a hostel. Bathroom is clean, and the shower is amazing, great pressure and fabulous shower heads. really makes the world of difference. With free Wifi anywhere in... More

We stayed at Sean Og's on the 10th of July and can't stop raving about it. Fron its traditional Irish music, the quaint Irish decor to the more than affordable accommodations. The rooms are typical old style and small however the beds were comfortable appeared newish and extremely clean. The bathroom was equipped with a spa bath another lovely surprise.... More

On holiday in tralee. Had a lovely meal in Cassidys and was recommended Sean Og's bar. Its a small pub. Staff were pleasant but it got very busy. People joined our table...didnt even ask if they could. Music was ok..heard better. Would not be in a rush back. Fairly average pub..been to better

The accommodation here is fairly basic but it's perfectly fine for an evening stopover, especially if you want to experience Irish music downstairs, and you are focused on a place to sleep with a friendly though simple breakfast experience. I was perfectly happy and would recommend this as a nice stage on a tour of the Kerry countryside.

A great little bar we stumbled upon after a very long day! Sat by an open fire with friend, a Jameson's and beautiful live Irish music, lovely atmosphere! Live music is advertised as on nightly from 9:30pm and it is simply two chaps, one on a fiddle and one on guitar, very talented and a joy to listen to!
