We needed a midweek break that didn't cost the earth especially in this highly touristy area and we definitely got this. The hotel was easy to find and absolutely beautiful inside with local art displayed everywhere. It was spotlessly clean and modern. The staff were friendly and efficient. The downside was the food. Our package included 2 nights B&B and... More

Really enjoyed our stay, had dinner on the night we stayed & the food and service was outstanding. Plenty of couches to laze around in outside of the bar. Cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were fantastic. We will be back.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a room with a balcony, this is one of the newer rooms and the room had wonderful views. I had a look at some other rooms (older) in the hotel and would not have been happy to stay there. they were tired and dated. The reception staff were all excellent and very helpful, the... More

We had a good value one night stay in Ballyroe during July. It was a Saturday night and there was a wedding in the hotel but this did not impact on our night's sleep at all which was a big plus The bedroom was comfortable though a little dark due to the trees outside and the dark furnishing palette. It... More

Had many meals at the 'Ballyroe' and all have been excellent. Have not stayed overnight but can probably understand the comments about noise from wedding parties. Location is superb and meals reasonably priced and excellent quality.

As a local I can vouch that this hotel is fantastic. The food is delicious and every event I have attended in the ballroom has been fantastic and enjoyable. The location is brilliant and its even nice to call up and to sit outside with a coffee and take in the amazing view. Keep up the great work.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and really enjoyed it. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful to us and went out of their way to get us some information that we required for the following day. Although our rooms were quite a bit away from reception they appeared to be in the newer part of the hotel... More
