Mary and her husband were very welcoming and helpful for our two-night stay. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit salad particularly appreciated. Good location within easy walking distance to Tralee town centre, and Siamsa Tire National Folk Theatre.

Mary was very welcoming, as we (two couples) arrived sodden on our bikes. She kindly dried our footwear for us. Room fine and breakfast very good. Derreen Tighue's location is fairly quiet, although close to the town centre. Exploring Tralee properly will have to wait for another time.

In 35 years of motorcycle touring all over Europe, I genuinely think I've found the best b&b I've ever stayed at! Lovely people, immaculate accommodation, fantastic food AND a great price! Highly recommended.

Stayed just for one night in this family friendly hotel - was recommended by another B&B as they were full but would gladly go back again. We had the family room clean and tidy. Just a short walk from Tralee - in to the two in 2 minutes. Great choice for breakfast and happy to go with your time frame.... More

A great jumping off spot for the Dingle Way walk and nice place to finish up. Located within 7 minutes walking of the town center. Mrs. Varley was very helpful and accommodating, providing tips on places to eat and directions. She also stored some of our "extra clothes" for us until our return at the end of the walk. The... Derreen Tighue is a fine house in a great location, not far from the bus or train station. Tralee is a little gem of a place and well worth the look. If you are walking the Dingle way from the start, this a great place to stay. One of our group arrived later than expected and our hostess took her... More

We had a very pleasant stay here. Excellent hostess-took us in her car to see downtown Tralee and get ourselves oriented. Daughter, Laura, was a great help with directions and looking things up on the internet for us. Nice breakfast menu.

Very close to the centre of Tralee, a very agreeable B&B, with a comfortable parking and simple, clean rooms. Breakfast is very pleasant and served in a familiar setting.
