We had a one night stay in this elaborately decorated but homely B&B. Both Rose snd Jim were welcoming and helpful and our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The bed very comfy and the ensuite modern and sparkling, shower great. Breakfast was the icing on the cake with generous, fresh and nicely cooked produce. Tables were set up... More

Many thanks to Rose and her husband. Hospitality was second to none. A class on its own. We were treated first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Great food at the Grand Hotel in town. Nightcap listening to beautiful music. Breakfast superb. We will be back. Decor divine. What more can we say except thanks for making our time in... More

The house is beautiful and Rose is a wonderful host!!! Great hospitality, every night we were offered Irish Coffee or Whiskey, Tea and Coffee was available all day anyway. All rooms have power showers = the only B&B we found with showers that deserve the name.

My partner and I stayed with Rose and Tim for a short stay in late May this year (2014). I can support fully every positive comment made by other guests who have posted a review about this outstanding B&B, although to regard it as just that does not do justice to the overall experience of staying at Ashville House. To... More

Excellently decorated and maintained house in lovely quiet spot, yet in conveniently close to town location. Spotlessly clean in every detail. Shower in room as powerful as hotel showers. Tea and cakes on arrival lovely touch. Breakfast best I can remember in any hotel or B&B: delicious fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals etc., then full Irish with very high quality... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while vacationing in Ireland. The home is beautiful and clean, and Rose and Tim we're gracious hosts! Rose greeted us with a fresh pot of coffee when we rarified, and we relaxed in the beautiful sitting room while listening to classical music. The breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommend Ashville House!

Very clean, though not within walking distance to any pubs, etc. Not that there was much in town. Very quiet, almost a little too quiet for our tastes, but would be great for a quiet getaway.Rooms were modern.

We had a difficult time finding the place; however, once there it was worth the drive! Accomodations are 5 star in our opinion, and breakfast was excellent ordered from a multi-lingual menu. The hosts are very accommodating. It was a great value.

All toiletries are provided in the rooms, and tea is served on request in the sitting area which is also very nice. They have lots of information on the area, very friendly, and lots of variety for breakfast.

This B&B far exceeded expectations. The room was spotless and the house was very peaceful, with a separate lounge for relaxation, where we had tea on arrival. Breakfast was served in the beautiful conservatory in the sunshine and the food was excellent, lovely fresh fruits, yogurts and a full Irish. Our hosts were very helpful, their hospitality and generosity far... More
