I popped in for a lunch at circa 12.15pm. Bar area was quiet with no pressure on the staff. I ordered the chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent as a main course. Simply put, it was nearly a vegetarian I received. Literally no chicken. Very little mushroom. The sauce was nice but the dish was also lukewarm. If a dinner orders food, please ensure they get what the ordered. Another establishment in Tralee (Miltown Rd) serves the same dish. The filling is full of chicken breast and beautiful mushrooms.

Popped in for lunch a few days ago. If you order the frozen food such as burgers, Vol-au-vents your safe enough however if you order anything fresh, expect whatever is in the back of the fridge. I had a goats cheese and pulled chicken salad, sounded amazing on the menu in reality the goats cheese was hard crusty and yellow, the pulled chicken was chicken chunks that was from a roast chicken and the cherry tomatoes had mould in the stalk🤢 I'd hate to see the fridge they came from. Mentioned this to the server as we were getting the bill, he saw the mould said that was disgusting. Complained about the chef to somebody sitting at the bar yet didn't take the meal off the bill when we paid. Although it was a very clear, I didn't touch it as I found the mould. Avoid at all costs.

Myself and my wife popped in the week of Halloween and we were served by a polite young waiter David who made us feel very welcome. Attentive and plenty of conversation but not over the top. Starters and main course we're both cooked perfectly .

To say that the staff did everything possible for us in order to make the night a very memorable night for us and our family and friends would be an understatement. From start to finish nothing was a bother and they were accommodating to all of our requests on the night and the lead up to the party. The food was also excellent quality and value and was commented on by or friends and family. We also had a DJ for the night who also worked very well with the hotel and the actual venue for a large family party was ideal with music (DJ) in the cellar and the main bar is only a few steps away for a quite drink and a chat with family and friends.

Had a 2 night break away with my husband and children. Stayed in the charming Imperial hotel tralee which is in the middle of Tralee town. The hotel is on the doorstep of the hustle and bustle of shops, bars, theatre and restaurants in Tralee town. On arrival we were welcomed by the very professional and friendly hotels manager Derek. The staff of hotel couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The bar is quaint and cosy, the food definitely lives up to its name of best meal in town'. Will most definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend a stay at this charming hotel. Rachel Guerin.
