I would have to say this is one of my best hotel experiences. I started off in Tralee at a different hotel but I had gone down to the Grand for some lunch. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon and the place was packed so i went on up to the bar. I have to say the food was... More

We stayed at the Grand for a night and were treated with fun and dignity. It was obvious I have a mobility problem and we were asked if we would prefer a room on the first level instead of the room that had been allocated to us, and it was pointed out that the new room would be a bit... More

From the staff, to the hotel and the pub attached you can't go wrong staying here. This place is a gem. We stayed here two nights and took advantage of having the pub/restaurant attached to the hotel. After doing some day trips (which the staff was more than happy to help us plan) we enjoyed parking the car and being... More

We booked an extra night because of the staff's friendliness and the pub's food. If we ever chose a hotel to live in permanently, this would be the one. The locals consider the Grand to be theirs. The manager is constantly available and vigilant. The reception desk went out of their way to assist us in every way. The location... More

Just want to say what a really lovely place the grand is, wished we had stayed there unfortunately we were at a hotel round the corner and what a disaster. We came to the Grand to eat and were very welcome. The manager even put a candle on a cake and all the staff sang Happy Birthday for our 85... More

With my wife originally from Tralee we have spent a lot of time in the town over the years. We usually end up in the bar of The Grand, as the food is good and there's a nice atmosphere. However, we had never stayed at the hotel itself until a couple of weeks ago when we had to come over... More

Stayed in this hotel as I was attending a family funeral. Was made soo welcome, almost like a member of the family. From my initial booking when they said "don't worry we'll look after you" until I left they hotel the staff especially at reception couldn't of been nicer. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean, breakfasts were delicious. Centrally located in... More
