We met my cousin in Tralee on Saturday, as she is local we asked her to suggest a nice restaurant, so she suggested the Grand Hotel. The bar and restaurant were both very busy which is always a good sign, we opted for the Dining Room, it was a great choice, there was a great choice on the menu, my... More

We had dinner in the Grand Hotel this evening. The food was fresh and tastefully cooked and reasonably priced. I enjoyed Scampi and there was no problem shopping chips for a baked potato. Service was excellent. The dining room has an old world feel to it and wine at €5.75 a glass was very satisfactory.

My colleague and I arrived on Monday 11th January 2016 on business. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely girl at the front desk, who couldn't have been nicer. Room was very comfortable; warm and very quiet. We considered having dinner in one of the ethnic restaurants in the town, and arranged to meet in the bar. But once there,... More

The one good thing about our stay in the Grand Hotel was the breakfast. It was very well presented, very tasty and there was a good choice. The waitress who served us was friendly. On the other hand we had a bad experience in the restaurant the night before. The food was nice and I would recommend but several staff... More

For our large group of 10 people, the grand hotel was more than perfect for our nights in Tralee for New Year's Eve. The rooms were very accommodating and staff was incredibly helpful when looking for places to eat around town. The restaurant in the hotel had a delicious breakfast with a variety of scones and made to order meals.... More

One excellent hotel. Lots of character entering and continuing throughout. Our room was recently refurbished to the highest standard. Tasteful, smart and comfortable. We ate in the bar. My husband had the best fish & chips. The fish with a very light batter that I could have eaten. Never my choice normally. I had a mixed fish with pasta that... More

I have stayed in the Grand regularly over the Christmas period and it never disappoints. The welcome was warm and the room we were allocated was superb for a family of four. It had everything we required including very comfortable beds, beautiful decor, two TVs and very good Wi Fi connectivity. On arrival there were open fires at the reception... More
