we hadn't planned on staying here, but arrived late, about midnight, rang the night bell, and the night manager, put us in a two bedroom suite, and made us toasted ham and cheese sandwiches that were a hit with the kids. the breakfast was very well done. I'd recommend this hotel if in the area.

This is a lovely hotel, very professional, staff very efficient, pleasant, warm experience. Usually come here to eat out on a weekend, food is always lovely, reasonably priced and ideal if you are looking for a relaxed dining out experience. Two options to eat in, the bar is lovely and cosy with comfortable seating and the dining area would be... More

Booked a table at Ballygarry for mothers day as it had been a while since the family were all together on a Sunday. Fab meal had from start to finish, really enjoyed my fish main course. Only thing I did find was that the veg could have been a little bit hotter other than that well done on a beautiful meal.

My wife and I took a three day break at Ballygarry House in March.. The hotel itself was excellent but most impressive was the attentiveness of the staff. Brooks restaurant was very enjoyable , and in the mornings breakfast was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Would certainly recommend, had a lovely stay

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are genuinely friendly and the room was gorgeous and I had a lovely garden view. However I would not recommend it for solo travellers unfortunately. The day I got there,I was really looking forward to eating in the bar. It was very busy on arriva. There were a few tables for two vacant.... More

We had the pleasure of a two night stay in Ballygarry this week. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to the most wonderful experience. Every staff member was friendly, attentive and warm. No stuffy formality here, just genuine warmth and impeccable customer service. There was a real feel of nothing was too much trouble for any staff member,... More

Visited this hotel today for a St. Patrick's Day lunch. It was fantastic. The staff was outstanding. We ate in the bar area. My husband had soup for starter and bacon and cabbage for a main course, as it was St. Patrick's Day he decided to choose a traditional Irish dish which was lovely. I had salmon and hake which... I stayed overnight on a business trip. The hotel has lots of facilities which we did not have time to use and has a lovely calm atmosphere. My room and bathroom were large, the bed very comfortable. My only gripes were perhaps the room ( carpet) and bathroom looked a bit tired ( I could see from a colleague's room... More

The staff in this hotel are next to none, every staff member is a credit and this hotel should be where all hotel staff from around the world are trained. The hotel itself is beautiful and unique, as it is country lodge type and every room isn't exactly the same like the big chain hotels. If you are only passing... More
