My husband and i stayed at Ballyseede for only one night as part of a four-castle tour of Ireland. This was my favorite castle, by far. The grounds are beautiful, and our room was huge! The staff was outstanding, especially Esther and her brother Joe who serve in the restaurant. Joe was kind enough to accommodate my vegan diet by... More

I stayed recently as part of a wedding. The rooms are lovely, lots of character. Staff are nice and friendly. Two adorable, friendly dogs live at the castle too. We got breakfast delivered to bedroom the next morning ... It was on the small side... 1 bacon, 1 sausage...etc. We both would have liked a little more. I'd stay again... More

This is hands down one of the COOLEST places we have EVER stayed!! We took what we later realized was the back way in (thank you navigation), so as we were taking a bunch of dirt roads out into the middle of nowhere we wondered what we were getting ourselves into. It turns out if you take a different exit,... More

First ever Castle stay and wow our expectations were exceeded. The rooms and amazing, the food is to die for and friendly staff are second to none. The full irish breakfast is enormous. You could not beat it for value for money. The bar snacks - well I don't know why they call them bar snacks - are fantastic and... More

My parents, husband and I had the place nearly to ourselves (off season is great!) and the staff was very helpful. It was a bit challenging to find until we realized our GPS had it as a landmark (I should have written down the coordinates) but once we did our stay was a delight.

The hotel is lovely a real find with lively grounds. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it! The rooms are decorated really nicely. The food is also excellent. The reception rooms are also very cozy and a really nice place to chill out over a coffee and or food.l

On a recent tour around Ireland and Northern Ireland a friend and I based ourselves at Ballyseede for 3 nights! Best central location for visiting the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry - and don't forget the wonderful city of Tralee it's self! Our room was HUGE (it was a room with two double beds) and very very... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at Balleyseede Castle in Tralee. Our room was large and well equipped and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner in the castle's beautiful pub and enjoyed strolling around the grounds. I had a strange experience there. When I was falling asleep, a charming elderly woman appeared in our room,... More

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. In terms of a wedding venue the Castle itself is beautiful and had a real authentic feel. The food was outstanding, by far the best wedding meal we have had, the staff and service were exceptional, so genuine and couldn't do enough for us. It was a perfect wedding venue for our party of... More

We hosted our wedding at the castle in September and it was an incredible day. The staff attended to not only our every need but the needs of our 80 guests also. They went above and beyond to make our day special and worry free. The venue itself is amazing and so full of character. Everyone was raving about everything... More
