Ballyseede is close to the Ring of Kerry. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Love the dogs and mules! No elevator so pack light or have a staff carry the bags. The staff are great. Rooms need to be redone as ours showed much wear. I'd stay here again but this is not the best "castle" hotel in Ireland. more

Ballyseede Castle doesn't now what it want s to be; a top-of-the-range destination for fine dining and quality accommodation or a venue for large, noisy drinking groups.
