Stayed at this B&B with my mother. Was met by the owner -Sorcha- when we arrived, and she made us a pot of tea, and had a good chat. Very comfortable twin room, in a very clean house. Plenty of parking on the house drive, and substantial breakfast. Took us about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Tralee.... More

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Sorcha, Colm and their family run this B&B in their large home just out of the main centre of Tralee. You feel like you are in the countryside but it is only a 10 minute walk from the Wetlands Centre and Aquadome, and an enjoyable 25 minutes stroll into the... More

The bed and breakfast was very pleasant and the breakfast good. Our room was clean and the accommodation was convenient for the town of Tralee. We were a little disappointed with the town but did find a very good restaurant for dinner

We arrived without a reservation. This was no problem for the 12 year old daughter of the owner. She showed us to our room and rang her mother who arrived a few minutes later. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived. The room was fine and the breakfast top class. The B&B is in a very quiet residential area... More

When we arrived at Ard Na Coille we were seriously stressed out. When we arrived we were a jet lagged, and stressed from driving unfamiliar roads. Add to this that no one was home. Sorcha had told us this might happen, but moments later Coln arrived and immediately got us into a room, offered to take our bags, and asked... More

What a treat it was to enjoy the company and hospitalityof Sorcha and Colm at Ard Na Coille in Tralee. Their bright conversation, fantastic sense of humour and of course beautiful accomodation was the perfect end to a memorable day driving the Atlantic coastline. Sorcha made sure we had everything we could need, and our room was spacious, warm and... More

We arrived at Ard na Coilie with a welcome from Sorcha that included a hot cup of tea! Nothing was too much trouble. Her family and husband Colm too were there with help and directions over the three days we spent with them. A wonderful place to stay! Thank you, Sorcha and Colm.

We spent a few days at the house in occasion of the Kerry Film Festival, being our first time in Ireland as well ! Sorcha gave us a warm welcome, making us feel at home immediately and helped in any way she could to make our stay memorable. The room was very spacious, quiet, clean and with fast and reliable... I spent a week in Tralee, Co. Kerry, to attend the Kerry Film Festival 2014, where I was writing a daily blog for the festival. The house is run by Sorcha and Colm, who live in the house along with their three delightful and bright children. They all speak Gaelic together, so for once, somewhat rare in Ireland, you can... I stayed here for two nights and really wish it had been for longer -- Sorcha has created a very special establishment here. The hospitality is warm, good-humoured and attentive, without ever feeling overbearing. The rooms are tasteful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast menu is impressively varied and cooked with great care. There's even fast wi-fi in the rooms,... More
