Between Easter 2007 and August 2012 my family plus my youngest daughter's friends stayed Easter week plus last week in August to a total of 11 times. That says it all. We hired one of the mobile homes on each occasion and found them to be first class. Anne and her husband work like Trojans to keep the show on... More

This place is fine, but it's very old fashioned and they make you use a key to use the locked bathrooms even during the day which is so inconvenient & disruptive. It's more focused towards caravans than people with a tent like us (two people) & while all the facilities are clean, they're not exactly great. Cold wet tiles, poor... More

Beautiful, well laid out campsite. Very clean and tidy and well worth a visit. Out of all the campsites we visited on our 12 day tour of Ireland I'd rate this No 2 on my list. The downside is they only take cash so be prepared. The facilities were great nice n clean all the time. The clothes washing facilities... More

Just back from 2 nights in Anchor Caravan Park with our camper. The site is excellent, pitches and full site is very well maintained. Facilities cater for everything from laundry to campers kitchen to phone charging etc. Toilets are spotless and showers warm and good value at 50c. Private access to a lovely unspoiled beach. Castlegregory village about 4-5km away,... More

We stayed (2 adults) for three nights, Wed- Fri with a tent, 2 dogs and a car, and we were very pleased with the site. We arrived about 11am and were greeted by Anne, who gave us our key fob (for entrance through the gate) and key for the facilities (access to the kitchen/laundry room, games room, showers and toilets... We stayed in a mobile home in the Anchor Caravan Park for a week in August, we had a lovely time, the place was so clean and the staff were lovely. We were really impressed with the high standard of the mobile home, it had everything you could possibly want for your stay. The bedrooms were lovely, very comfortable and... More

We broke down on the way to the camp. The site owner travelled 15 miles to rescue me and the contents of my trailer at 10.30pm. He refused my offer of money to cover his diesel costs. This was a sign of the hospitality to come. This site is clean, very well-run and the family staff are always on hand to help... More
