This hotel is really close to the National Park, in the town, and beside the train station. It is also quiet, so you have the best location of all. The hotel staff are excellent, from reception, to housekeeping, to restaurant. The room I got was comfortable, if a little small. The bed was comfortable. The decor is old, and could... More

One word sums it all up: excellent! I couldn't fault any of it. The food was delicious. The staff were brilliant and the hotel was run like clockwork! I would definitely plan a return visit. Keep up the good work!

I haven't stayed in this hotel just had bar food and it was very good, service superb, slightly overpriced but surroundings are amazing, would entice me to stay at this hotel in the future. It's a great location for staying in Killarney and touring around.

I've been fortunate enough to stay in a number of 5 star hotels all over the world and I can safely say for customer service The Malton comes out on top. We were there for one night for my birthday and when we arrived found out there was a wedding party of 340 there also. As it turned out the... More

Stayed in the Malton as part a large group of women on a hen party, some hotels would be a little short with groups like this bit I couldn't fault the Malton! Receptionists were lovely from the time we checked in till the minute we left, they were cheery and eager to help with anything we asked. We arrived late... More

Myself and a couple of friends were going to Killarney and decided to try the Malton for Afternoon Tea. We were expecting great things as we had heard it had been recently taken over from Hayfield Manor. To be honest I was a bit disappointed by the whole experience. Firstly on arrival I found both receptionists I dealt with to... More

Dear Guest Thank you taking the time to review The Malton. I am very disappointed and surprised to read your comments. This is certainly not the type of service we that pride ourselves on. The Malton hotel has built up a strong reputation for our food product and I would be confident that this was an isolated incident, never the... More
