My girlfriend and I stayed at the Invicta for one night last weekend (15th August) and both felt that it was a charming b&b. In terms of location, it is very close to the lake where you can hire fishing boats (from the b&b proprietor - Sean). It is also very close to the walking track that takes you to... more

Lovely place, in such a secluded area. Great for local walks. Mary, the Hostess was very welcoming, with tea and cakes and lots of information on the area. The breakfasts were most enjoyable. Our room had a magnificient view of the Loch and surrounding countryside. We stayed 2 nights and can recommend it. more

We spent a 2 wonderful nights at this establishment, Mary the owner of the Invicta made us welcome and spent a lot of time with us talking about Ireland and places to visit. The room was excellent with views of the lake and mountain behind the homestead. It was one of the great and memorable time we hade in Ireland.... more
