Sorry, we are late to write this review. We were there in August 2013 with Family(2children). The accommodation was FANTASTIC and service as well. While coming back Mary and Sean given 10 euro for ice cream for my kids. I recommend this family B&B to anyone visiting Kerry. Lincy and Thomas and 2 my children

Hi Christopher, just a quick response to your review. I live 10 km from Killarney town so therefore I don't think your review was for my property, The Invicta Bed and Breakfast. The content read as if I was based in Killarney town! Thanks, Mary. More

The best B&B! Shiun and Mary are great hosts! Very welcoming, beautiful location, great fishing, close to the National Park, and the breakfast was just perfect! I would recommend the Invicta without hesitation!

My wife and I travelled to Ireland with a few friends. The Invicta was one of our stops. Eatery thing was smooth and from the start we were happy. Awesome views, great opinions on food and things to do, and a nice welcome snack with hot tea and coffee to welcome us to their home. Breakfast was great, quick service... More

I was welcomed well, and offered tea at once. The place is situated almost in the national park, in a very charming area. It is a very quiet neighborhood. Narrow streets, stonewalls with a lot of green plants and yellow flowers takes you there. I got a room with a terrace, and I could see the Lough Leane. The place... More

We were new to the B&B experience, but this was exactly what we wanted during our trip around Ireland. Killarney was one of our favorite parts of Ireland, between the great B&B, the downtown was great for dinner, and hiking the Gap of Dunloe in the rain was actually one of the highlights! We absolutely loved the owners, they helped... More

This wonderful B&B is in a fantastic location for exploring either the Gap of Dunloe, Killarney national park or the village itself! It takes a bit of exploring to find the place, but once you do its great! Hostess is wonderful and kind, rooms were immaculate (like I felt bad walking with shoes on) and beds comfortable. That and a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Invicta the second weekend of September and it was fantastic! We are outdoorsy people and Killarney National Park was within 5 minutes walk, Gap of Dunloe was a 5 minute drive, and plenty of other fantastic hikes! The breakfast was fantastic...Mary greeted us with coffee/tea and awesome cookies and cakes when we arrived... More

This was a great part of the trip and host were so welcoming. They were very helpful and so kind to us. Breakfast was excellent, probably the best throughout the trip. Great distance away from the main town of Killarney and the rest of the national park, and also a good midpoint to get the Dingle. Very warm and inviting... More

My sister and I had a twin room at The Invicta and loved it! It is clean and cozy. The crisp clean sheets had a fresh laundry scent which we found at a lot of B&Bs in Ireland. Our room was a lovely twin room that felt like home. Mary is a wonderful laid back and the kindest host. We... More
