On the edge of town but wahat pretty place! Directly across from the park. Our hosts were warm and kind and made us accomodations for the Jaunting car with a family friend. Very short distance to town. Beautiful house and grounds with a view of the lake and park. Really enjoyed the stay.

Better late than never! My husband and I truly loved our four-night stay in May of 2013 at this beautiful B&B right on the edge of Killarney National Park. Our spacious, comfortable room had a gorgeous lake view that you could enjoy even while taking a shower! Our hostess, Eileen, was so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and we... More

We were greeted by Eileen (a fellow Nurse!) and she made us feel like family right away! Our first night in Ireland was like all of our dreams of the Island! We could not of imagined anything better! We will certainly return and stay for much longer! Thank you for your gracious accommodations!

After staying in several large and busy hotels throughout Ireland, it was such a treat to be met with a warm welcome by Eileen and her family at Carriglea. This B&B has a wonderful and colorful history but has all the modern amenities for a very comfortable stay and unlike some B&Bs in which you feel like you are essentially... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our recent holiday in Ireland. We wish we had booked more time in this wonderful place! This house is beautiful. The accommodations are cozy. It is centrally located to all of the main attractions in Killarney - close to the town centre with restaurants and shopping and right across the... More

We loved this B&B. We stayed in a suite in the old carriage house, and it was extremely comfortable. The views of the lake, the Killarney forest and the front garden of the house were stunning. Eileen was extremely welcoming, and was a wealth of knowledge about where to go, and how to get there. It was lovely walking around... More

The Carriglea B&B is pretty much the first building you see on the right coming out of the national park. It is an old building, well maintained and with lots of character. Our room was large and sunny with excellent facilities. Breakfast was also great. The owners live on site and were extremely welcoming and provided lots of information. If... More

Ideal accommodation for trips around the three peninsulars in SW Ireland: Dingle (best one); Kerry (a bit busy); and Beara (excellent). The house is quite historic and is adjacent to a working farm. There's a horse and a donkey near the house but there was not a peep from them - unusual for donkeys! Very quiet house, probably because the... More

Carriglea House is a wonderful Victorian charmer full of history and comfortable elegance. We were a bit tardy arriving after a traffic hang up about an hour away but we were able to call ahead to alert them. Eileen was just a ring away when we did finally arrive and was just wonderful about all the things we could do... More

As we were touring through Ireland we could not avoid the highly recommended RING OF KERRY and searched for accommodation in Kilarney. The B&B is located in the outskirts of Kilarney, almost when you are leaving the forest of the National Park. The location is great, with terrific views to the mountains and views. Another great offer of Irish B&B... More
