I hardly know where to begin with my review! Everything about Carriglea House was outstanding. First and foremost, I must mention Eileen, what a kind, patient and gracious hostess. She greeted us with suggestions of sites in close proximity, which were spectacular, Muckross Abbey, Torc Falls and the Killarney National forest. It was our first time in Ireland and these... More

We stayed at this gorgeous B&B in June and the owners were great hosts and most helpful, It was a very enjoyable stay, we were there for only two nights and loved the accommodation, grounds views and location. We drove around the Ring of Kerry it was perfect for this and also the local sightseeing or walking to Muckross Abbey.... More

I cannot begin to explain how incredibly wonderful this B&B is. Eileen was a wonderful host. It was wonderful to get to know her and her family. I really enjoyed feeling like I was a part of the family. The room was absolutely wonderful. There was a sitting area that had a wonderful booklet with information about the history of... More

My partner Jim and myself had the most enjoyable stay in Carriglea House this August Bank Holiday Week-end. We left Cork late on Friday evening and kept in touch during the day with Eileen to let her know of our delay. Eileen was incredibly patient with all this and when after many phone calls we finally arrived at her beautiful... More

This B&B was wonderful! It was extremely beautiful with gorgeous views, good food and a great location. The room was perfect. My friend and I stayed here and they actually gave us 2 queen beds, a first while travelling in the UK and Ireland and very much appreciated as we are both tall and like to spread out. Right across... More

This was a gem of a location with spectacular views and grounds. The rooms were spacious, clean and you could just feel the historical and family flavor that has been kept for generations. Close by town, a walk in the park or a nearby restaurant. The breakfast was superb and they take some much pride in making your stay just... More

A great b&b. It is located right next to the Killarney National Park and outside of the city centre so it was nice and quiet. Great service and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

This historical family run B&B is well worth your time to stay for "at least" two nights. The views on the property are spectacular- it is a short drive to town or you can walk across the street to the Lake Hotel and have a walk around the property and see the view that you see from the Carriglea House.... Lovely and historical home in Killarney. We fell asleep to complete silence in a comfortable room, and woke up to a spectacular view of Killarney National Park. Just beyond the front door is a lawn with comfortable chairs, and paddock with donkey and horse. Wander out back and there are chickens and you can see the cows in the distance.... More

On the edge of town but wahat pretty place! Directly across from the park. Our hosts were warm and kind and made us accomodations for the Jaunting car with a family friend. Very short distance to town. Beautiful house and grounds with a view of the lake and park. Really enjoyed the stay.
