Loved this B&B!! The location was perfect...about 5 blocks into Killarney-a quick and easy walk. You can't go wrong with Algret - 5 mins walk to Main St, just off Muckross Road. Rooms in excellent condition, really clean and common areas welcoming. Breakfast is just like in hotel! Our host Greta is very friendly and accommodating - makes you feel welcome. I would return next time more

Arrived around 5 p.m., and was greeted by Mrs. Doyle, who immediately impressed my GF Chris. This being her first trip to Ireland, she was amazed at the interest Mrs. Doyle took to make sure we felt at home. clean beautiful home, wonderful breakfast, delightful host. Everything you hope for but don't always get in a B&B. I hope to get back to Killarney area again and will check the Algret house for availability first. Wonderful B&B run by Greta. Nice and cozy room, beautiful wood trim throughout (done by her husband). approx. 10 minutes walk to town center. Very clean....everything you would expect ..good value.....great breakfast, kept us going well past lunchtime. Were there for 3 nights. Lots to do around the Killarney area. Algret House was the perfect spot for us! more
