We stayed at the Rathmore House for 2 nights during the beggining of October. Originally, we planned one night only, but after receiving a warm welcome from our friendly host Patrick and seeing the room, we decided to extend our stay. The B&B is located within a 5 minute walk from town and the room was the largest we had... more

My sister-in-law and my niece had the pleasure of staying at the lovely Rathmore House August 15, 2009. The rooms were bright, sunny (loved the sky lights!) and spotless. Nice-sized rooms, nice shower, comfortable beds. Pat and Mary truly know how to make you feel welcome into their home. Pat, in his gracious, good-humored manner, gave us great tips on... more

We were four people in all, two couples, and we're lucky enough to find this place with vacancies. Pat, the owner, was great. Whether with recommendations for places to eat in town, tips on Muckross house and places along the lake, and hints for making our Ring of Kerry tour that much better, or just chatting away at and after... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Rathmore House for two nights after a "not-so-nice" experience at another B&B in a very small Irish town. We were a bit shaken by that experience when we arrived at Rathmore House, but we were greeted by the proprietors so warmly that we immediately felt welcome and at ease. The room was clean, bright,... more

My wife and I recently stayed one night in Killarney at the Rathmore House. Pat gave us a friendly welcome and helped us with directions to the close-by Muckross Estate, where we spent the rest of the afternoon. Our room was quite large and clean, and we were able to pick up a wireless internet signal without a problem. Breakfast... more

Mary and Pat were great and so was their home. Pat gave us great directions to places to eat and the Dingle Peninsula. Our daughters had their own room and felt very safe. We spent two nights here and would loved to have stay longer. more

This is a great destination, next to a national park with great scenery and outdoor activities. A fun little city with lots of pubs with traditional music, plus clubs with other music. For health food folks, there's a little juice bar tucked into an alley that was great. Some shops stay open late. Take a tour of Muckross House. We... more

Prior to my trip to Ireland I booked a room at the Rathmore House. I saw the ad on the internet and thought it looked like a nice place to stay. We arrived at the Rathmore House and I was in shock. The Ad didn't even come close to showing the beauty of this B & B. The view was... more
