The Fairview Hotel is very centrally located. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to an executive room for an extra €10. The room was just amazing - huge bed, huge tv and Jacuzzi bath. We both slept very well. The food was great also and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortuntely there was no pool or spa... more

This was the nicest Guest house I have ever stayed in I am so surprised at the last negative comment. It is smack in the center- everyting is on your door stop. The rooms are fantastic, clean, and of the highest standard. Breakfast was unreal. You sit down and have an option of a beautiful full irish, omlettes, (many types) continental.... more

We stayed at The Fairview for two nights while touring the Ring of Kerry. Killarney, in general, is a highly commercialized tourist trap, and there are many accomodation options, and while The Fairview was nice, the staff was not, specifically the man who runs the front desk during the day. Also, there is no parking here - instead you park... more

My wife and I checked in for just one night - and we ended up staying four nights! The restaurant inside was terrific...excellent food....and breakfast was even better - you could get anything you wanted for no charge!!! We didn't even need to eat lunch when we stayed here! The rooms were spacious, light, comfortable, and airy. Located in the... more

I stayed here with my family in 2003 and 2006 and could not wait to come back again. This is my favourite place in all of Ireland. Whilst many make mention of the noise on the street .... well you are in City Centre. Like any city centre, and especially in the most popular tourist city in Ireland, you are... more

And some quite rude since we did not want Full Irish Breakfast incl.diet limited. Upgraded to Front Roomw/ Jacuzzi. Surprised my husband, he was thrilled. Our 1st trip to Ireland & Mr. Mahoney... more

I had booked to stay at the copper kettle, but the room I had booked had a problem - so I was told I could stay at the Fairview - at a higher price than what was agreed for copper kettle! Manager told me I would be a fool to not stay at the Fairview at the rate he was... more

This place is really an all rounder. The location is great and the rooms are so well kept that you feel like you are in a five star hotel. The decor is exquisite and worth every penny. For just 10euros per night we were upgraded and also had a jacuzzi in our bathroom!!! more
