Look no further than the Sika Lodge for a comfortable B&B at every turn. Serena is quite an ambitious young lady with a husband and young daughter to create this lovely home away from home for all of our family members. The rooms are clean and inviting, the sitting room has an extensive library of current DVD TV or movie... More

Sika lodge was a luxurious mid week treat in the heart of beautiful Killarney. Serena was the most wonderful host and the breakfast was top class. Especiallythe pancakes but the Irish breakfast delicious too. The toon was more similar to a 4star hotel. Fabulous bed and shower !! Also, really appreciated the tea making facilities in the room. I can't... More

My Wife and I had Visitors from South America and wanted to show them the wonder of Killarney. At fairly late notice we found it difficult to get a hotel so began looking at guest houses in the area. Luckily we found Sika Lodge which proved to be a huge hit with our guests and ourselves. Serena was charming and... More

The host was very friendly and supplied us with a lot of information about the local restaurants, ice cream places etc. The room was decorated in a beautiful fashion and offered a tv set with dvd-player and a couple of dvds. The B&B is situated on a very busy street so it was quiet noisy. The food was exquisite, apparently... More

This was a perfect place to stay in Killarney. It was walking distance from the center, it was clean and the room was lovely. Our hostess was friendly and very helpful. The best part was the breakfast....I think it was the best egg I have ever eaten. She is a great cook!

Charming bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Killarney. Received a very warm welcome with a introduction to Killarney and a personalized map outlining restaurants and bars in the area. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Bath gel, shampoo, etc were included (not always available in a B&B). The dining area was nicely decorated and the breakfast was... More

Handy to the road into Killarney from Limerick and the Ring of Kerry. Plenty of guest parking. Guest library with bottle of Irish whiskey if you fancy a nightcap. Good wifi in the bedroom. Imaginative breakfast menu, beautifully cooked. Good suggestions for sightseeing in the area. Two minor disappointments - had to go out to find an ATM for a... More

Our first stay at a B&B was at Sika Lodge. It was a great place to start our journey in Western Ireland. Serena was a great host and was well prepared with a map of the area and her suggestions of where to start our touring of the area. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Her breakfasts were... More

The house is probably the most beautiful in which we stayed during our stay in Ireland. This is fitting, as its surroundings are some of the most beautiful in the country. Tying everything together, the proprietors, Serena and Alan, are two wonderful people that help to make your stay truly memorable. Serena is an excellent chef! After days of the... More
