We really loved this place, and had a two night stay. It was right across the street from the national park and close to Ross Castle. It was also within a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Our room was quite large and quite comfortable. Rosaleen was wonderful to chat to. Her and Denis even helped to research my... more

Killarney was our favorite place in Ireland, and a lot of that was due to Ross Castle Lodge and our hosts. Both Denis and Rosaleen were amazingly helpful during our stay. They showed us what trails to walk and how to get to everywhere we wanted to go. It's only a 15 minute walk through the national park to the... more

Ross Castle Lodge was the perfect bed and breakfast. Our room was beautiful, the bedding very comfortable, the bathrooms large and well-equipped for every need. They had a computer on-site at no charge and Rosaleen served a fabulous breakfast. It's fairly close to Killarney, Ross Castle, and Muckross House, but I was glad we had a car because it would... more

One of the B&Bs my wife and I stayed at in Ireland. Great location with walking paths in the woods and close to town. The hosts are charming and the breakfast is great. I will not stay anywhere else when I return to Killarney. more

My partner and I stayed here on our last night in Ireland before moving on, and found it very quaint. The couple who run it are friendly and personable, and the grounds are beautiful - had we been able to stay longer it would have been the ideal place for a picnic. My favorite thing was nearby national park, while... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ross Castle Lodge bed and breakfast for one night last weekend (14th August 2009), as we wanted to visit Killarney & Co. Kerry, and it was perfect for what we wanted. Location: The B&B is about 10-15mins walk into Killarney town - either along a straight road or you can take a detour... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Ross Castle Lodge this June for 4 days. The room we got was very large (even had an extra twin bed) and the bathroom was large too (had a bathtub and hot and cold water came out of one tap ... unusual in Ireland!). Rosaleen was extremely nice a helpful and gave GREAT... more

Largest room and bathroom I've had in Europe. Free parking. Beautiful gardens filled with roses and birds on the road leading to historic Ross Castle. Hosts provide great advice for restaurants and sightseeing, such as the Ring of Kerry. more

My wife and I are still in Ireland and we spent 3 nights at the Ross Castle Lodge. Rosaleen and Dennis were wonderful hosts, Rosaleen was all too kind and made sure that we were prepared each morning for our journeys. The room that we stayed in was large and comfortable and felt like we were at home. The location... more

The proprietress of the Ross Castle Lodge was very hospitable and gave us good suggestions on what to do and see during our short time in Killarney. Our room was much larger than we expected (king-size bed, which we had never before seen in Europe, and a twin-size bed as well), and very clean. The bathroom and shower were also... more
