Delightful overnight stay with a great hostess, Anna. Could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Good parking immediately in front of the house and very comfortable surroundings. Recommended.

It was a pleasure to be in Annie's beautifully clean home. Our bed was extremely comfortable. She was very friendly and helpful, even arranging taxis for us in the evenings. She advised on the best routes to see the area. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Would stay here again.

Stayed at Glendale House last night. Really cute spot, on a bit of a busy road but we were upstairs and we didn't have any issues with noise. Room was really nice, very clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good and cooked fresh for us. Sat out on the balcony and had a bottle of wine at night. Owner was very friendly. It's a bit of a way from the city centre but parking was cheap there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The bed and breakfast is 8km from the town not 4.6km as described. The owner stated a 4pm check in. And no one was home until 4.30 and not much of an apology for letting us wait. Our room was very small. No view as we were downstairs. Decor is very dated. Breakfast was 8am-10am. I went at 8.15 and she rudely said I didn't think you would be awake until later. She also couldn't believe I wanted a full Irish. She was acting like I wasn't going to eat it and kept asking was I sure I wanted everything. While packing up the car, I had my baby in my arms, I left the front door open. I was "scolded" for doing this. Didn't feel very comfortable there. Anything I asked for seemed like hassle. My partner and I would not recommend this place especially if you have a baby.

Stayed with friends second time, breakfast was good and tasty. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had no problems with anything, Killarney is just a short drive away, the place is very quiet. We'll be back!

The house is quite a long way out of Killarney on a very busy road, and there are no local restaurants. The accommodation was clean and attractive but a severe lack of usable electrical sockets. In room1 there was no mirror in the room just a small one in the bathroom. This made it impossible to use the hair dryer.

Called them and booked directly, they gave me a lower price than booking, recommended! Staff Very welcoming, building very taken care of, calm and quiet. Very handy as it is 2 mins by car from Kilkenny. Breakfast was amazing! Only cons was the shower that did not have the handle (so basically we had to bath)

Found the accommodation nice and the host most helpful. The fresh cooked breakfast was a true hearty Irish breakfast. Using the Glendale house as a base we found many nearby attractions. Not a bad restaurant was found in Killarney.

I was worried about the traffic noise, and asked Anne if we should get a room facing away from the road, and she said we could hardly hear it if we closed the window--and the traffic died down at night---and she was right! We slept great! And because I reserved this room in a hurry, I didn't realize it was about 6 km from town. We asked Anne if she could recommend a not-too-expensive place to eat. Not only did she recommend a great pub-restaurant, but she offered to drive us in and pick us up in 2 hours, since she was going into town anyway. All in all, a very comfortable, relaxing stay.

It's not my type to write bad reviews. Usually I only write when I'm happy but I cannot let it go. Our family was supposed to stay in the b&b for 2 nights but... The house is near the highway and very noisy. It's not very far from killarney's center but it's definitely not close from it. Room is very badly furnished with old blankets, pillows and bed that hasn't been replaced for years I guess. Bathroom is okish even if the water not very warm. Breakfast is Ok. The main issue is that the owner is the least welcoming person we have ever seen. At our arrival, we dared mention that it's very noisy (because of localisation) and quite old. She considered that we insulted her and that we were not welcome anymore in her place. We have been kicked out the following morning by her aggressive soon, threatening us if we dare stay more in this place. There are so many great places around, it would be such a pity to ruin everything by staying here... Avoid at all costs. Ps: should you need anymore details don't hesitate, I'd be glad to help you make the right choice and avoid this place.
