Stayed for 2nights. The Place was a nice cosy one. The interior and exteriors gives a feel of country house. The staff were very co-operative too. The place is about 5-10 minutes drive from Killarney Town. We had taken taxi (costing 10 euros one way) for access to town. The hotel arranges Ring of Kerry tour with pick up and... more

Booked a room at Darby O'Gill's last minute online and it was great value for money. EUR 69 for a double room including breakfast for two people. Rooms are fresh, big and clean. Bar is cozy and lively. Five minutes by car from downtown Killarney but too far to walk. more

Really enjoyed this B&B. Stayed here in Aug with family during trip around South Ireland and this was a great find. Staff were excellent to deal with. Food could be better but overall I was a good experience more

Stayed here for 2 nights in May and I was not overly immpressed! It was a B&B style hotel - nothing very interesting! The food was okay eg the breakfast consisted of juice, toast, cereal, a fry... The rooms were fine - clean enough, not cramped by any means. I would say that there was a unpleasant whiff at times... more

This hotel is excellent. We stayed there for 2 nights in March 2008. It was spotless and the hotel facilities were great! The food in the bar/grill was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and were good at recommending things to do, see. YOu are about 5 minutes from town, so it is quiet and peaceful! more

I run a motorcycle touring business and stayed here with a group of my customers for 4 nights. I personally was very pleased with the way we were welcomed, the standard of the rooms and the quality/price of the food available in the lounge bar. There was entertainment on the premises for all the nights we were there, a different... more

Our experience was sub-par in every way. First, the reception staff were unprepared and seemed confused. It took a while to find someone to check us in. Then the hallways were so dark we couldn't find our room - and when we asked they said they forgot to turn the lights on. The beds were very uncomfortable - felt like... more

No non-smoking rooms availabe so the room stank. Pretty quiet location well out of town. We dropped off launday for same day service and they had to mail it to us 3 days later in Dublin since they forgot to do it, then had the gall to try and charge us for the mailing service! more

The hotel was very clean, with excellent facilities and the rooms spacious and comfortable. It looked recently decorated and really fresh. It was only a short drive from Cork airport and easy to find. The views from the hotel were glorious and it was ideally situated for travelling in the surrounding area. It was easy to get to the Ring... more
