I have stayed at Darby's several times now and couldn't recommend it more highly. Its very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms, good food and fantastic staff. Overall its a great place to stay. This hotel is a fair distance out of Killarney which i was surprised at.The reception is old!No other word spells it out accurately.The bedroom was okay,clean and basic but the bathroom was terrible.The ceiling looked as if it had a leak and was never fixed up afterwards and the decor was drab and dated.Some guy was playing in the bar... more

Booked a room at Darby O'Gill's last minute online and it was great value for money. EUR 69 for a double room including breakfast for two people. Rooms are fresh, big and clean. Bar is cozy and lively. Five minutes by car from downtown Killarney but too far to walk. more

Really enjoyed this B&B. Stayed here in Aug with family during trip around South Ireland and this was a great find. Staff were excellent to deal with. Food could be better but overall I was a good experience more
