Gleann Fia is in a secluded and quiet location with a babbling stream running through the property. We had a nice sized room - it could have accommodated a 3rd person. Wonderful bathroom, plenty of room and an excellent shower. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the solarium honor bar and enjoyed the wonderful views of the surrounding woods.... more

This is a wonderful B&B just a mile or so outside City Centre Killarney. It is a purpose built facility that has every modern amenity but faithfully recreates the delightful ambiance of a Victorian Country home. The Glenn Fia was a very nice house tucked into the woods only a mile or so from Killarney, close to everything. The room was comfortable, a little chilly but ok. We did have some issues with the shower, my wife was in the shower for only about 5 minutes when the owner knocked on the door saying water was... more

Gleann Fia is in a beautiful location and it's only a short jaunt to town. Our room was nothing to scream about, but it sufficed. Breakfast was pretty good, it has a great "honor bar" area in which to hang out, and, overall, we had a nice time staying there. Yet, the owners tripped us out...perhaps "temperamental" would best describe... more

The power was out for a few hours and then we had to call the innkeepers to get hot water in our room. The house was clean, but the innkeepers made undesirable comments about us being Americans (she said that the Irish referred to us as hillybillies). I would not recommend it to an American traveler. more

This was by far the most beautiful and best place we stayed (2 nights). It's setting is less than a mile from the center of Killarney, which can - at it's center - be a bit overwhelming with tourists, so we felt privileged to explore the wonderful town and the Ring of Kerry and then be able to retreat to... more

This was a wonderful stay on a cold wet night in January. Connor and his wife made us feel at home and literally opened their house and hearth to us.
