We booked the hotel because of the good reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. However it was not possible to sleep at night. The room was very warm and we had to have the window open all night, the noise from outside becomes really irritating when you try to sleep. Tony McSweeney was a fine and gracious host. Breakfast was superb every morning. The kitchen will stay open late for golfers coming in after hours and the pub was always friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit of a problem. We were lucky, but most parking is in public carparks 200m away from the hotel. Terry made us very welcome. Nice big room, warm and cosy, but no coffee/tea making facility. Good bathroom. Nice pub. Great breakfast. more

We had a great three day stay at this hotel - nothing was too much trouble for the owners - the staff were wonderful as was the food - cant't fault it apart from the noise from the bar across the road . more
