Arrived in Killarney on a Monday. Going out for dinner, we looked for two recommended restaurants, but both were closed. Found Foley's as we walked around. Very nice space with a full bar. I had the special sole Veronique. My wife had their special five fish platter. Both were served with vegetables and potato and were wonderful. 1/2 bottle of... More

We walked in off the street and booked a room. Staff was nice. Room was very large. Bathroom was large. Both lacked attention to detail in spots (sloppy caulking, weird headboard on the wall that didn't fit the bed). Pretty comfortable. Conveniently located. Our rate included breakfast. The person at the front desk asked what time we wanted to eat.... More

I recently stayed there for 1 night to catch up with friends. The location is good but it could do with a facelift. There was no hot water in the shower & the breakfast was only average. The staff were friendly & very helpful. I would like to recommend that you move your visa machine from its current location.

This was our 4th time staying at Foley's! Absolutely the best place to stay in Killarney! Great rooms, affordable, and the restaurant is the best in town. Dennis and Carol make you feel very much at home. Superb staff. Look forward to seeing you guys again!! Gary O'Halloran, Bismarck, ND, US

As the "Gateway to the Ring of Kerry", Killarney is a busy town with a high number of tourists and coach parties - so lacks the charm of smaller rural retreats. That said, if you choose to stay here, Foley's is a good option. At the top end of the high street, this is close to the action but quiet... More

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a fantastic meal at Foley's during a recent trip to Killarney. The food was excellent (particularly the perfectly-cooked steak) and the service of a very high standard while also friendly and personable. The restaurant is comfortable and smart without feeling overly formal and is also well situated within the town. Highly recommended.

Came here with a friend for a few days and was not disappointed. Our room was lovely, originally we had booked a quiet room but on arrival there was a bit of a problem, very quickly rectified by the lovely helpful staff, and so we were put in an alternative room at the front over the street, but this not... This is not a review of the hotel but of the restaurant, specifically the superb pianist, Anita. Travel weary and loathe to suffer any more the heart-throbbing amplified 180-decibil "music" at other Killarney pubs during a Music Fest weekend in mid-July, I passed by Foley's Restaurant and heard soft melodic piano strains soothing to the ear--and soul. Not prepared to... More
