My fiancé and I wanted to stay at a B&B during our trip, but we weren't sure if we could get that in the downtown area of a town. We were so pleasantly surprised! Our room was beyond adorable, with a really cute bathroom. Our breakfast was fantastic... everything was fresh and delicious. A big bonus for me was that... More

I give it 5 stars because while not a 5 star hotel it offers Great value in its class at €106 per night including a terrific freshly cooked breakfast to our order. To our surprise for rooms above a pub, we had a very spacious room with a king size bed. We had dinner in the pub as well, and... More

Many years ago I had a memorable evening here on the famous Marston's Irish golf tour. I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered. It was. Lovely atmosphere - quite genteel. Excellent breads - I think one was a treacle bread. I had the chowder, which was full of fish, rich and creamy. There a superb... More

Stayed in Foley's for a two night break with my wife. We really enjoyed the hotel especially the service and the breakfasts both of which were a very high standard. We did not use the Restaurant but it done a brisk trade and had obviously got a good reputation and had an excellent menu. The entire hotel was very clean... More

The rooms are clean, cosy and of high standard. The food is fantastic and the staff does everything to make your stay pleasant and memorable. We actually stayed one night extra because we didn't want to leave. I warmly recommend this place.

Spent Valentine's night here, hotel looks lovely, full of antique/repro furniture and quality fixtures. However, the room was so hot I couldn't breathe, even with all the Windows open. Tried to turn the radiator off but it didn't work. Fairly comfy bed, lousy pillows and the only firmish pillow had a dirty pillowcase. When we got up in the morning... More

One of my ancestors was a Foley so I didn't think we could go wrong here and we didn't. We felt a little underdressed for this restaurant but the service was great and the food though a little pricey was excellent. You will never go away hungry from here.

Enjoyable meal, good service and great conversations with diners seated at tables on either side of our table. Quiet dining room with a nice atmosphere which was a short walk from our hotel. Foley' was recommend by the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area.
