We booked this from a guest house and B&B guide while travelling around in Ireland. We booked the mid week three night special for 99 euro. The house was well decorated, clean and the breakfast was great. Everything was in walking distance - shops, pubs and also the Killarney national park. The proprietor was friendly and the establishment well run.... more

A lovely hotel, nicely decorated and absoutely spotlessly clean. Made to order breakfast and they even booked us on the ring of Kerry tour for the day we arrived. Everyone was friendly and helpful it was a pleasure, would definately recommend and stay again. more

A small establishment on the edge of the main town centre with parking to the rear (narrow approach). The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished and were spacious and well appointed with en-suite bathrooms or showers (our party had 3 rooms), the traditional irish bar was small and very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and the Irish... more

It was like stepping back in time to the 50s and 60s. Nice and Quiet rooms and the cook to order breakfast was wonderful. The dining room is cozy with the chance to interact with other guest. Nicely furnished guest lounge. We had a great relaxing three day stay I extended the stay by a day because it was so... more

Situated right on the main thoroughfare in Killarney (High Street), Hussey's is a small, friendly bar serving great Guinness, but also with 5 letting rooms upstairs. The rooms are clean, tidy, well-presented and are all ensuite. There is a TV (just the basic 4 Irish channels) in each room, as well as a tea/coffee making kit, and there is a... more

Just 6 or so rooms over the pub (up narrow stairs). Room was small with pretty furnishings, creaky wood floors, small TV, separate full bath. No view and odd noise (couldn't make out if it was an exhaust fan, heater, or what) that window blocked OK. There is construction next door, but wasn't a bother at the time I was... more

A real gem--and right in the heart of Killarney. We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at Hussey's Townhouse and will recommend it highly to our friends. The owner's pride shows here--very clean and quaintly-decorated rooms, charming hallways and lounge, excellent breakfasts (you get a choice) served with a smile. It "ain't the Ritz", but at Hussey's you'll get a... more

We stayed here mid June 2003. At first I was skeptical as I have gotten stung by killer website photos before. Not the case here - the rooms were very clean, great decor and more spacious than depicted. Breakfast was great and the bar downstairs was very quaint and Irish. Geraldine and her family are very hospitable and helpful. The... more

I stayed at Hussey's in April 2000, traveling with my Dad and three brothers. Geraldine and her staff do a wonderful job of accomodating their guests. The rooms were spotless with nice furnishings and private baths with wonderful showers. Breakfasts are included and will be adjusted to your personal tastes. The pub is intimate and perfectly Irish. Killarney is a... more
