My wife and I visited Killarney in May, staying for the weekend. The guest house was very clean and comfortable and Freda, who runs the place with her husband, very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel right at home and the breakfast .... it was as copious as it was delicious! The guetshouse is very close to the... more

If you are exploring Killarney, there’s no better, relaxing place to stay than the 19th Green. It’s not just a B&B. It’s connected with the golf and fishing club, which means you can dine at the golf club house. The golf and club house rests on a gorgeous course overlooking the Lower Lake of Kerry and Kerry mountains. The dining... more

I want to be clear that I am writing an honest review and as you can see I have written several reviews in the past . I am not a one time poster as I see some of the previous reviewers are. I hesitate here because the host was very nice and do not want to hurt her yet I... more

From the moment we arrrived we were made to feel very welcomw by Freda and John. Our room was very comfortable, we also had a balcony attached to our room which was a real bonus. The breakfasts were excellent, everything was freshly cooked and beutifully presented and the atmosphere in the dining room was very friendly and relaxed. The sitting... more

extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff (the owner herself); excellent self-made breakfast (big choice), cozy rooms and cozy livingroom-like lounge with fireplace; you should have a car when you stay there, though, because it's not in the city center of Killarney - thus it's very lovely and quiet; if you've got a car Dingle, Ladie's View, Kerry and other points of... more

Small to medium sized b&b. The location is next to the national park and golf courses and lakes, nestled in Killarney, acess to lovely places. The rooms are clean, warm and spacious, with pleasant views and WI-FI. Best though was the host, very friendly, efficent and helpful. One of the best we have stayed in Europe or Ireland. RECOMMENDED. more

Freda opened up her guesthouse to us as if we were part of her family. There was nothing that she was not ready to do for us. She accommodated every need, including certain unusual food requirements. She made us feel so comfortable that we simply hated to leave! What a great innkeeper. She and the 19th Green are a gem! more

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 night B&B and overall we had no complaints whatsoever. I loved the olde world atmosphere, comfortable lounge with log fire, very comfortable bed and peace and quiet. The breakfast was the best and we are going back for another short stay in May. Its not easy to find a nice B&B/Hotel... more
