We celebrated my fathers 70th at the weekend in the Cahernane. The hotel were so helpful with all the planning required and the weekend was a huge success. The food was amazing and the staff and their service was seamless. I would highly recommend the hotel for weddings, parties and all our friends and relatives who stayed thought it was... More

Thanks to the staff of the Cahernane House Hotel, we had the most wonderful family gathering. The staff were more than accommodating and there was never a problem. The food was five star restaurant quality and the ambiance was perfect. The bedrooms were spacious and of a high standard. I really can't say enough about this hotel, so much, so,... More

We had a family celebration at Cahernane House. It was like a mini wedding with over 80 people invited and our guests booking out the hotel for the night. We had the most amazing night. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food, atmosphere and general ambience of the hotel couldn't have been more special. I can't... More

This place is gorgeous - there are no other words. When we arrived, we felt like we had stepped back in time, and the place made us feel so relaxed. It is about a 10-15 min walk to Killarney town, but well worth it. The common areas are all beautifully decorated, and our room was large and very clean. Our... More

You enter the Manor House hotel down a leafy lane close to the Killarney National Park. There is a warm fire to welcome you as you enter the front door. There are several elegant rooms you can sit in and read or play games. On the side of the house a sunny glass conservatory. The bed rooms we were given... More

I stayed here recently as part of a large Christmas party group. My husband and I were allocated Room 18 which is in the old part of the house, on the top floor. The room was large and well furnished, with a glorious view of the mountains. There was a very nice seating area, and the bed was big and... More

If one wants to go back in time and enjoy Ireland as it was many years ago then this is the place to stay. A long tree lined drive greets you from the main road- a amazing sight as the leaves fall in November. The reception sets the scene with an open log fire. There are many amazing large rooms... More

Out of all the places that our group of 5 stayed over 2 weeks in Europe, this was our unanimous favorite. The rooms were nice but the real attraction here is the manor house itself. The public spaces are wonderful, the grounds are out of an 18th century painting and the public rooms are majestic and cozy feeling at the... More

Cahernane House hotel is very old, full of character in lovely grounds with superb breakfasts! The bedroom we stayed in was a 'standard' bedroom, nicely decorated with queen bed. HOWEVER!! Our bedroom was chilly when we arrived, and even though they gave us a plug in heater it was not near warm enough for our stay. The conservatory was freezing... More

Having decided on a Thursday to head away for the weekend I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The setting - magical and the atmosphere so relaxing we ended up having dinner in the hotel! Food was excellent considered we had the bar menu, even though the seating perhaps "too casual". All in all a perfect weekend!
