This place is a funny one - Great photos on-line & reasonable prices. You arrive at the bottom of a long drive way - This looks good. You arrive at the house - This looks even better! Check in. You arrive to your room and it looks great, decorated like an old manor house its a little bit different! But... More

Staying here is like stepping back in time to gracious country house living at its finest. Don't look any further. I am the owner of a tour company and recently brought my group here. From the warm reception from the staff and a fire crackling in the fireplace, to the exceptional dinners, quaint wine bar, beautifully decorated public living rooms... More

Really nice manor house style hotel. Room was adequate (could do with new wallpaper). Hotel was clean and we loved the fire in reception area. Breakfast was nice too. We Will definitely come back as we also found it is pet friendly!

This was my second stay at this lovely manor house. This trip was with friends and family for my birthday celebration. We stayed two nights and enjoyed everything (except the wifi). The rooms are comfortable and we had a patio looking back to the pastures and mountains - and lined with rose bushes. The staff are very helpful and friendly.... More

We saw this hotel when browsing the web. We have visited Killarney loads of times but never came across this hotel before so we decided to give it a go. It's only a ten minute drive from Killarney and a 20 minute walk to Muckross Park. We stayed 2 nights for B&B. The hotel is real old world. The main... More

Highly recommend staying in this hotel, the staff are very friendly, the hotel itself is a beautiful turn of the century manor house and still has garden to stroll around in. The views of the mountains in the morning is spectacular. We dined in the restaurant and both of us loved the food and ambiance in the restaurant. The bar... More

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend at Cahernane House. Lovely welcoming staff, from the lovely lady on reception, to the barman, to the morning breakfast room staff. Lovely hotel, could do with a little bit of love and money in places but the genuine warmth of the hospitality makes up for it. Their food is sublime, and I would go back... More

A lovely old home sympathetically converted with all modern conveniences sums up this charming hotel. Our room at the top of the house was really spacious with a large en-suite. It had wonderful views of the surrounding countryside which added to the overall feeling of well being. We ate in both the bar and restaurant and both meals were very... More

We stayed here last week because our travel agent said it was four stars and a ten minute walk to town; neither statement was accurate. It was at least a twenty minute walk to town on a busy road. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms. The common areas had a dreadful chemical smell from cleaning products. The hangers are... More
