I have stayed at the Ferris Wheel three times. The Owners, John and Nora, are fantastic people. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfasts are very good with ample variety. The location can't be beat. It is convenient to The Gap of Dunloe, Kate Kearney's Cottage, downtown Killarney and the ring of Kerry. I look forward to staying... More

We stayed in The Ferris Wheel for two nights in July while we were attending a wedding in The Dunloe. The B&B is ideally located close to The Dunloe if you fancy comfort without the expense of The Dunloe. Our room was a very decent size and modern (not like a typical irish B&B). Rooms and en suite spotlessly clean.... More

Stayed here for a night with wife while attending a wedding at the Dunloe Hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, quite large for a B&B and a nice clean ensuite facilitated a nice warm shower. No shower curtain though which was unusual. It 1.3km from the Dunloe hotel along a country road. Pretty during the day and dark... More

We loved our stay at the Ferris Wheel B&B ! My twin 13 year old kids and I stayed here for a wonderful four days in June, when we travelled to Ireland to attend my brothers wedding.. We were made to feel so very welcome by the wonderful Ferris family. We had a very spacious and immaculately clean family room... More

Lovely room and expansive traditional breakfast. John is a fountain of knowledge about the area and its history. I also took a ride in his jaunty cart in the Gap. Short, beautiful walk to Kate Kearney's cottage and the entrance to the Gap.

We were in Ireland for two weeks and stayed in 4 B&Bs during our holiday. We stayed 3 nights at the Ferris Wheel and it was very much below the quality of the others. This one was clearly the worst. I'll compare the experience here compared to the other B&Bs. At all the other B&Bs we were greated by the... More

The gap of Dunlow is a mystical place and John, the propritor of the Ferris Wheel made it even better. The accomodations were great and John whose grandfather and father have taken visitors by horse and trap into the gap over the last 80 years provided first hand knowledge of the area including its history, fauna and geology. It was... More

We spent the day climbing Ireland's highest mountain, Carrountoohil. Our guide recommended The Ferris Wheel B&B as it was near the mountain and also close to Kate Kearney's Cottage for dinner that evening. We stopped by without having a reservation and were greeted by John who led us to a beautiful room. The inn is lovely! We had a great... More

We stayed at the Ferris Wheel while attending a wedding in the area, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The hosts John and Nora are just lovely. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view of the mountains behind. It's a perfect location for walking the Gap of Dunloe (or John will take you up there on his horse... More

We chose to stay here as it had many good reviews on Trip Advisor. The B and B was a lovely house in a beautiful setting. The owners couldnt have been more helpful. They advised us of places to visit and restaurants to go to. The only thing we didn't like was the shower set up. The shower screen does... More
