We stayed 2 nights here for our Anniversary Trip to Ireland. I have to say I almost wrote a review before I stayed, on how amazing Mary was.. She went above and beyond for me on every email before we arrived. She booked our dinner reservations and answered all my questions promptly! When we finally arrived, I wasn't the least... More

We are here for our last of five nights at Carranross. I have to give it five stars because of the charming owner, Mary O'Sullivan. She has gone above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Our room is large, comfortable and bright with a king bed and updated bathroom. The breakfast is very good, try the pancakes-they are different... More

We have just stayed one night in this lovely B&B. It is in a good location, just 10min walk from the centre of town - this is an advantage as the town can get quite busy so the B&B is in a quite area (with easy parking) and an added bonus is the nearby shops for stocking up for picnics... More

Mary was a great host like most of the other hosts we have experienced by going the extra providing us with local advice. The room was very spacious and fresh. The bathroom was also modern The internet was exceptionally fast, which was great. We paid €80 for the night which was much less then what other B&Bs were asking Would... More

This is a lovely house within a 15 min. walk to the city center. The rooms are big and bright and airy with comfortable beds. Mary makes a wonderful breakfast, don't miss her scones or Guinness brown bread. We stayed for 5 nights and we're sorry to go.

Was I in the same place as the other reviewers? Stayed here a while ago, but it is upon staying in other accomodation in the area that i have been propelled to write this review. Found the hostess Mary unfriendly and unwelcoming. On our first introduction we were shown straight to the rooms with an abrupt 'Hello'- We had traveled... More

Carranross House was our favorite Irish B&B of the 7 nights we spent in Ireland on our honeymoon! Location, location, locations! The B&B is easy to locate, and is a 1 minute walk from a Spar (grocery store), and a ten minute slow walk to the center of town (on safe sidewalks). In about 8 minutes you can even go... More

We stay at this B&B for 2 nights ans we loved our stay. Mary was so nice and full of tips and the room was so huge ! The B&B is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre so not to bad and it's so quiet. There's a pharmacy and a market where you can buy some things to... More

We had a very nice stay, Mary was very helpful and informative about the local area. Also lent us a book for our own research. We stayed for 4 nights, the room was a good size although only had a shower which was bearable for time stayed. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Really enjoyed our stay... More

Dear FoxBedfordshire, Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts, we are very glad that you had a very nice stay. It's a pity that you didn't request a room with bath, which would not have been a problem had I known. The online agency via which you booked have a facility to do this. Otherwise you could... More

My husband and I spent one very full and somewhat rainy week visiting many of the sites in and around Killarney. Our stay in this area was greatly improved because of the welcoming and warm hospitality given to us by the innkeeper Mary. Her knowledge of the area and some of her suggestions on how to best work around the... More

Dear Coyotepolly, Thank you both so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. The week you picked to visit Killarney was not a rare rainy week, we had a lot of them so far this 'Summer'.....lol. We live in hope. I bet the dogs were delighted to have you back. Thank you again and who knows,... More
