My partner and I recently stayed at the Killarney View House. We were on a budget so were not expecting much from our stay and having looked at the pictures posted online it looked lovely. My partner was greeted on arrival and was shown the layout of the property i.e. room, lounge and dining area. Décor is outdated and could... More

My family stayed for two nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by Margaret who showed us our room and was very helpful. Our room had beautiful views overlooking the river however left much to be desired. The room is very outdated. The bathroom was very small and the water pressure in the shower was lacking. It is advertised that wifi... More

My partner and I stayed here for three nights, booked with Expedia. I had read reviews on here just before we arrived and was unsure as what to expect. Out first impressions were good - the exterior of the house is nice and the view of the river was beautiful. Margaret checked us in and she was very friendly and... More

Very disappointing for us and the kids. Over priced €150 for one night for 2 adults and 2 kids. Unsuite was long overdue replacing. There was a sliding door that didn't close properly and badly fitted, which meant you had no privacy when going to the toilet. Shower tray was missing half the enamel. Beds were very uncomfortable with only... More

I picked the Killarney View because it was close to the INEC, if people would do their research they would know its outside the town. The setting on the side of the river is beautiful and I think the photos are very accurate. Ok may be a bit dated in places but we found it clean, comfortable and great value... More

Our room was small but clean and adequate. The staff are great. The view of the river was awesome, 10min walk to town centre. WiFi was not very good, but it may be country wide issue. We liked the interaction with the other guests in the main lounge area.

Wifi is advertised amenity but non functional. Tv had two channels and 12 inch tube style. Shower barely dribbled. Cost more than average. Unkept in need of repair. There are many b&bs hotels inn etc in the area which are the same price or less and sure to be better kept. This place reminds me of an old cheap dirty... More

We stayed in Killarney View on the last weekend in July 2014. We arrived in the early evening. The first surprise we got was the "no credit cards" sign - in the 21st century this really isn't good enough, and not fair to expect people to walk half a mile to the nearest ATM. Especially when you have to book... More

First off, this is not a B&B as there are 14 guest rooms and a two bedroom apartment. It is more of a small hotel that serves breakfast. The photos and descriptions on the website look great, but selected photos and editing can do wonders. We had room #14 on the lower level at the end of the hall. The... More

This B & B Is quite comfortable, but the staff make up for the accomodation. The bedrooms are a bit dated, but the lounge room overlooking the river is beautiful! The WiFi doesn't work in the room so you have to go to the lougeroom (fingers crossed) to get it to work.
