We arrived in stormy windy weather, but the place was very nice. The credit card machine didn't work so they only take cash. Had a beautiful view of the ocean after the weather cleared. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. more

I spent one night here and have no complaints. The room was clean, the employees were very helpful, and the location is good. Had an amazing veiw of the ocean, as the name implies. Would stay here again. more

I DONT THINK I HAVE EVER STAYED IN SUCH A DUMP IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! We arrived into our freezing cold bedroom at around 8 in the evening. The radiator was freezing cold as if it hadn't been on for days and indeed it hadn't. An eastern European chap named Andre seems to pretty much run the place and as... more

Stayed here for 2008 Oyster Fest. Location great to Nimmo Pier and festival as well as City Center / Salt Hill areas. An easy 15-20 min. stroll along the Galway Bay Promonade with great views. The room and breakfast were good as well. The real accolades go to Tom the owner. Our car had a faulty fuel pump. He allowed... more

This was such an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. 1. The room was extremely out-dated with dingy, marked up pink walls, well-worn fabric headboards and had a terrible smell. 2. The brass accordian-style lamps on the wall above the beds were crooked and practically falling off the wall. 3. One of the beds barely looked made and there... more

This was a good spot to stay in Galway. Good location between Galway proper and Salt Hill. Easy parking. The staff person, Andre, was wonderful. Rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Baths were also roomy - and jacuzzi jets in the large tub were very welcome after a rainy, cold day in Conemarra! Breakfasts were... more

I can't believe the good reviews here; the place was dirty, smelly, and expensive for a B&B of this caliber (E 55. pp). In fact it was the most expensive B&B we stayed at. One of the two beds had a broken boxspring (they replaced it the 2nd day with another not-new boxspring which made it marginally better). The water... more
