My wife and I were looking for dog friendly accommodation in Galway on our recent honeymoon tour in Ireland. As it was short notice we only found this one that said they were "dog friendly". When we rang to check, the woman seemed unwilling but said yes. When we arrived, the welcome was initially warm and we were told that... More

Got luck when I picked this one out. The location is incredible. Galway bay outside your window, the beach steps away. Turn right and you are on the promenade and a few blocks from the Salt Hill area of restaurants and shops (La Collina, great Italian, O'Connor's is an eclectic pub) and turn left and a slightly lower stroll brings... My husband and I were on our first break away on our own since we had our little boy who is now 2 and a half. When we got there the lady who owns it Magaret was so nice. She was friendly, loved to laugh and made us feel so at home. The bedroom was spotless and very cosy. The bed... More

This was one of the great B&B we stayed recently. Wonderful host really fantastic location. Rooms were clean and tidy. Superb breakfast in the morning. Close to Galway City. I definitely recommend this B&B to everyone. Thanks Breda

I would recommend this B&B to anybody - it's the lap of luxury in the middle of Salt Hill, beautiful rooms, top class food, wonderful hospitality and everything we needed right at our fingertips, a real little paradise, ask 4 room number 3 it's so beautiful overlooking the bay, we have stayed here 3 times and every time it's gets... A group of 8 of us recently stayed at Atlantic View for the Galway race week for my hen party. Breda was most welcoming and the rest of the staff were lovely. The rooms were great, exactly what we were looking for…very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included in our booking and was delicious, a full Irish fry up... More

This bed and breakfast is just outside Galway city centre, so you can stay here in quiet surroundings, and the noisy tourist area is within walking distance. The room was very nice; the bathroom could use an upgrade. We liked the hosts very much; they were friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. Lots of great tours... More

Absolutely loved our stay here. Extended it by an night as we thought we hadn't done Galway justice. Our host recommended a tour which we are so pleased that we took. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast great, hot food cooked to order, which is such a refreshing change from the often soggy offerings in bain maries. Tom... More

Just spent the night at Atlantic View b&b and it was a friendly, clean & tasty experience! We arrived earlier than the check in time and owner Tom kindly organised our room to be ready within a few minutes. We were given a code for the front door to allow us to come and go as we pleased. Our room... More

I am a sales rep and travel Ireland staying every week in a different hotel or B&B, I was going to book Atlantic View through Hotels.com so before I did I called Breda, proprietor, before hand to ensure it was OK to also have my dog stay with me...Breda asked me not to book through Hotels.com and instead encouraged me...
