Just spent 2 nights at this B&B with my husband and our baby. Upon our arrival no one greeted us nor came to open the door, we rang the door bell and we were answered from a mobile phone and were told the code to enter. No one came to introduce themselves etc even when some one did turn up... more

This is part bed and breakfast, part hotel. The rooms were simple but done well with comfortable beds. The shower was cold! Otherwise, great value for our short stay in Galway and they serve a nice bfast. A neat alternative to a standard hotel and a great value. It took a while to find it -- get good directions if... more

What a wonderful stay. The blonde hostess was so friendly. Kimberly/Kim? Also, her supervisors were very nice, professional. Most of all, this place is so accommodating. P/S It is also "animal friendly" but I would call in advance for permission for that. We must interview your pet. cheers! more

Having stayed in many different types of accomdation allover Europe - i must say this was the best B&B so far! It is ideally located 10 mins walk from Salthill beach, but that is what made me and my girlfriend fall in love with this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the level of detail in every... more

Clean and pleasant rooms, professional service and nice breakfast. A reasonably priced place to stay for a night or two. Beware, the walls can be a bit thin if there are lots of people coming and going! All the rooms are reasonably presented. The breakfast was good and the owners friendly. more

Me and my partner stayed at Amber Hill for a weekend in March. Our room was lovely and clean with bright pleasant decor and that vital blackout blind for the morning after the night before. Amber Hill has all a B and B has to offer and more. Our ensuite room was well sized and cosy at the same time.... more

Myself and my partner stayed at Amber Hill B+B for a weekend at the end of March. On arrival to Galway we were given clear helpful directions on the phone from the owner. He rang us back on his phone which saved us our credit and was handy. On arrival to the B+B we were greeted with a friendly reception... more
